ABOUT THIS EPISODE
Mark Youngblood is a 23-year U.S. Secret Service veteran and current Chief Operating Officer at American Global Strategies. In this episode, host Tim Neiman sits down with Mark to break down the chaos of the White House Correspondents' Dinner incident, why Secret Service training is the gold standard, and what it really means to protect not just a person — but democracy itself.
Mark shares what it was like serving across administrations from Clinton to Biden, running dignitary details in dozens of countries, coordinating multi-agency operations, and incorporating airspace security for major national and international events. The conversation shifts to leadership — setting clear roles, surrounding yourself with people on the same mission, and refusing to feed negativity. Mark closes with a powerful message: if you care, you can accomplish great things.
