Speaker 0: do you see it happen happening in a urban planning situation where real estate companies will come in and say, i'm building a hundred homes. therefore, i need to build a ten office. i'm gonna say loft. in the community.
Speaker 1: let's just use loft. always use loft whenever we talk about coworking.
Speaker 0: but, you know, along with the concepts of fifteen minute cities and all these things, when you say, alright. well, for every so many people, we're gonna have a x number of person loft with office space, drop in space, work rooms, and stuff to, avoid a lot of traffic, but you could also potentially have other things in that community center, whether it's recreational stuff or professional stuff.
Speaker 1: so absolutely. so this is what really excites our team. right? this space is our entry point into this experience. and the experience is really everything that you would wrap around your workday in a normal day. so as an example, if you worked in a tower downtown, that entire path system in toronto was built around those office towers. right? like, all the businesses and the services and, you know, the gyms and everything that you saw, that economy was built because this tower existed and workers came in every day. exactly what we're excited about is could you say we put a loft? because we do this, there's room for childminding. there's room for education. there's room for health and wellness. right? and so could you build this ecosystem? and i think law plays a role in this. so one hundred percent right, craig. like, that's what we're very excited about. like, we have a project that we're, looking at and, in the twenty twenty five, you'll see it in oakville, where it just happens to be a development where we have, you know, condos above it. we have a, you know, a school at the base in montessori. we have, you know, amenity rich areas. we have a health a wellness center going in right next to us. so all of a sudden now you're really creating this ecosystem. you're creating this experience that makes sense. and that's why we say we're the work life freedom company. we really do believe that when you put a loft in, it unlocks so much potential around your work experience, but, you know, what what it should be for all of us, right, as we navigate our workday.
Speaker 0: what does success look like for loft, and where do you see it in five to ten years from now?
Speaker 1: five to ten years. when i say the starbucks of workspace, i think that's just the entry point. right? like, i see loft being in every as convenient as that and as ubiquitous as this experience. right? and so, you know, could you be traveling? i'd love to see us across canada, in the us, and in europe at minimum. and what i mean by that is that not only would it be in rural areas, but it would be as convenient as possibly in hotel chains. as an example, the new business center could be a loft. right? if you went to a conference, we would be in conference centers and venues. we would be in, airports for sure. right? we would be in travel destinations. basically, wherever you needed to plug in to work. you know, as an example, if i was jumping on this, you know, this live and i happen to have been on the road meeting clients, i should be able to open that app, pop into the closest loft, and have exactly this experience. i happen to be at our loft in downtown toronto today, but, you know, you should be able to do this everywhere. and i think that's a better reflection of where the world is going with technology when you think about ai, your question earlier. but it's also where the world is going because is, you know, this is what we all experienced for almost two years, right, through a pandemic was okay. well, it's not where i'm doing the work. it's do i have the technology to do it, and do i have the flexibility and the convenience to do it wherever i need to? i think that's where loft that's the potential of loft. so five years, everywhere. i'd love to see us, you know, everywhere.
