ABOUT THIS EPISODE
Welcome to eclipse season star-party-people! We kick off eclipse szn with a New Moon Solar Eclipse happening on August 12, 2026, at 10:36 AM PT at 20° of Leo! CLOCK IT!
This is our second eclipse of this Aquarius-Leo series, and our first one in Leo proper! This new moon is all about knowing the difference between reverse imposter syndrome and the Dunning-Kruger effect. Some leaders act like they know everything when really they don’t know dick from shit. Saturn in Aries is trine the lunation, reminding us to learn like we know nothing.
Sure, Mars freshly in Cancer may be baited into conflict, but it was probably overdue conflict that is worth having. Try not to take things too personally. Venus in Libra wants to flirt, date, and have some fun already. Get out of the house!
Mercury + Jupiter conjunct in Leo can bring on big talk, heated egos, but also countered with the deserved recognition and demanding a seat at the table. Speak on it!
Also discussed (tw: racism) the Steven Forrest controversy/lack of a real apology/tripling down on his stance + his use of the N-word and other racist perspectives and the astrological community’s response. I encourage you to watch this panel of Black astrologers discuss the event and harmful aftermath. CC: Jovi Saturn
