ABOUT THIS EPISODE
As we head into chapter 31 of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire – The Third Task, there is a lot going on! Harry is preparing for the third task and learning new spells: the impediment curse, the reductor curse and the four point spell. Protego (sort of).
During the third task, your family is allowed to come and show support, but surley the Dursley’s wont show up?! NO! The Weasleys are there to watch and support Hary in the third task.
But the third task raises some questions. The most important one being this. Viktor Krum used Crucio. What are the judges doing there? They did not see this happen. As a matter of fact,, if they didn’t see that, then the audience cant see anything, so, why are they there?
There’s also an instance in the maze that should have been left out and leads to another question. Harry uses Reducto on the hedge to get to Cedric to help him. It worked. The hole was small. But then they could all use Reducto repeatedly and just end the game fast. But does doing a spell over and over and over and over wear the spell caster out?
Oh ya, also the cup was a portkey. Which one of us assumed it would be a portkey to transport the winner out of the maze and in front of the judges.
