Could The Answer To Protecting Students and Staff At Schools Be In The Metaverse?

In this episode of Spotlight Sioux Falls, we sit down with Dr. Maria Bell, founder and visionary behind Digital Twin Imaging (DTI), a company at the forefront of school safety innovation. DTI's cutting-edge 4D modeling technology creates hyper-realistic, data-rich digital replicas of schools, allowing first responders and school administrators to see, plan, and train for emergencies as if they were actually inside the building — in real time. From mapping entrances and evacuation routes to simulating live crisis response, Digital Twin Imaging is setting a new national standard for safety readiness. Through her strategic partnership with Augustana University, where she also serves as Chair of the Board of Directors, Dr. Bell is connecting academia, technology, and public safety leadership. Together, they're proving that innovation born in Sioux Falls can lead the way in saving lives not just through faster response times, but through intelligent prevention and next-level preparedness. This episode goes beyond tech - it's about vision, leadership, and how one idea can change the way we protect what matters most: our kids, our teachers, and our community. Watch how Digital Twin Imaging is redefining school safety one digital replica at a time. Maria Bell LinkedIn Digital Twin Imaging - https://www.dtisim.com/
