ABOUT THIS EPISODE
We are fortunate to have the opportunity to discipline our minds—have this opportunity early in the morning to focus on one thing that's all-important, leaving beside everything else with no other consideration whatsoever. This is a luxury, because most people are harassed 24 hours a day by various desires, thoughts, anxieties, and worries. But we don't have that, because we know that just by meditating on the name of Kṛṣṇa, everything else is perfectly achieved in life—like watering the root of a tree.
So now, let's take that benediction we've been given to focus solely on Kṛṣṇa's name. Consider any other thoughts that come knocking at your door to be intruders, and just tell them that you are busy right now. Mercilessly leave them out in the cold, and continue in the warmth of chanting the holy names of the Lord. (00:56)
