00:00:16.239 --> 00:00:18.960
now with Vella Lavelle. She's on a hit TV show,
8
00:00:19.000 --> 00:00:22.160
Animal Control on Fox. And first of all, Vella, are
9
00:00:22.199 --> 00:00:24.559
you anything at all like your character on this TV show?
10
00:00:24.920 --> 00:00:26.960
Well, it's going to disappoint you to find out I
11
00:00:27.000 --> 00:00:27.760
am exactly like.
12
00:00:30.719 --> 00:00:32.759
So you just show up and be yourself is what
13
00:00:32.799 --> 00:00:33.079
you do.
14
00:00:34.679 --> 00:00:37.640
Pretty much. That's not always the case in other shows.
15
00:00:37.799 --> 00:00:41.560
I've been in other characters I've played. It's been pretty
16
00:00:41.640 --> 00:00:44.439
different from myself, which is also fun to step into.
17
00:00:44.560 --> 00:00:47.240
It's an actor kind of you know, explore the side
18
00:00:47.280 --> 00:00:49.399
that you don't really get to show. But this character
19
00:00:49.520 --> 00:00:50.600
is pretty close to home.
20
00:00:50.799 --> 00:00:51.200
I love it.
21
00:00:51.280 --> 00:00:54.119
Yeah, you're you're not getting too much acting there.
22
00:00:54.000 --> 00:00:55.840
But but you know what, it's really fun and I
23
00:00:55.880 --> 00:00:59.079
know people just absolutely love Animal Control. It's on Fox,
24
00:00:59.079 --> 00:01:01.479
it's been a huge hit, and you work with an
25
00:01:01.520 --> 00:01:04.719
amazing cast. I think it was cast perfectly. When you
26
00:01:04.760 --> 00:01:07.200
look at this, there's not anybody that you go ah boo,
27
00:01:07.239 --> 00:01:09.079
that guy shouldn't be there or that lady shouldn't be there.
28
00:01:09.120 --> 00:01:11.079
Everybody, including the animals.
29
00:01:10.760 --> 00:01:15.159
Right, especially the animals, Like those casts are actually playing cats.
30
00:01:15.159 --> 00:01:18.599
It's pretty amazing. So we all feel that too. I'm
31
00:01:18.599 --> 00:01:21.159
so glad you said that. It means a lot. We
32
00:01:21.200 --> 00:01:26.439
all feel like we're all just kind of slowly turning
33
00:01:26.439 --> 00:01:30.760
into our characters or our characters, but we all love
34
00:01:30.799 --> 00:01:33.400
each other so much and get along really well, and
35
00:01:34.480 --> 00:01:38.280
little weird things happen on our show where the writers
36
00:01:38.280 --> 00:01:40.719
don't even know something about our lives, and then it
37
00:01:40.840 --> 00:01:43.599
just pops into the show. Like this past season they
38
00:01:43.640 --> 00:01:46.879
made up that my character was an only child and
39
00:01:47.040 --> 00:01:51.079
had an imaginary friend and was so lonely that she
40
00:01:52.040 --> 00:01:54.599
read books at school dances, And I was like, did
41
00:01:54.640 --> 00:01:57.879
you read my diaries? My child?
42
00:01:58.799 --> 00:02:02.480
And how fun is that that they your character is
43
00:02:02.519 --> 00:02:03.079
so like you.
44
00:02:03.079 --> 00:02:04.920
They nailed it, They really nailed it.
45
00:02:04.959 --> 00:02:07.400
I still think maybe they broke into my house and
46
00:02:07.439 --> 00:02:09.719
stole my journals, because I'm like, how did you know that?
47
00:02:10.039 --> 00:02:12.960
Well, they probably just follow you on social media and
48
00:02:13.000 --> 00:02:14.879
they're like, oh, hey, she said this, let's write that
49
00:02:14.919 --> 00:02:15.520
into the show.
50
00:02:16.680 --> 00:02:20.159
Yeah, I probably over shared. That's probably what it is
51
00:02:20.560 --> 00:02:22.919
now that I think about it. No, but we we
52
00:02:23.000 --> 00:02:27.000
really feel like we're all kind of so well suited
53
00:02:27.000 --> 00:02:30.199
to these characters. And you know, also because we're on
54
00:02:30.280 --> 00:02:34.680
season three, which is amazing and so so rare nowadays
55
00:02:34.719 --> 00:02:37.319
to actually get to a third season of television. But
56
00:02:37.719 --> 00:02:40.159
you know, the writers, we all kind of you know,
57
00:02:40.159 --> 00:02:41.879
know each other now, and we know each other as
58
00:02:42.000 --> 00:02:44.759
friends and actors, and the writers know us, and so
59
00:02:45.240 --> 00:02:47.439
they really start to write for who you are as
60
00:02:47.479 --> 00:02:50.919
an actor and the character. So we all feel like
61
00:02:51.000 --> 00:02:53.960
this is our favorite season yet. Yeah, so it's a
62
00:02:54.000 --> 00:02:57.280
good time if you don't know the show. We're really
63
00:02:57.319 --> 00:02:59.800
cooking in the third season. So it's kind of fun
64
00:02:59.840 --> 00:03:04.240
you and binge it and our finales our finales on Thursday.
65
00:03:04.639 --> 00:03:06.360
And I was to say the season finale is the
66
00:03:06.360 --> 00:03:10.000
thirteenth of March. But if people miss this or if
67
00:03:10.000 --> 00:03:12.879
they're going, well, I can't start by watching the season finale,
68
00:03:13.000 --> 00:03:16.319
they can also watch the streaming on Hulu, is right, Yes, we.
69
00:03:16.400 --> 00:03:20.319
Luckily it's just a few weeks ago. We got seasons
70
00:03:20.319 --> 00:03:23.199
one and two are on there now, so people online
71
00:03:23.240 --> 00:03:25.840
were really like Veella, like, I can't watch season one
72
00:03:25.960 --> 00:03:28.840
or two, and because they just had a few episodes
73
00:03:28.879 --> 00:03:31.759
up and now everything is up, which is so exciting,
74
00:03:31.840 --> 00:03:34.439
so you can you can kind of watch from the beginning.
75
00:03:34.719 --> 00:03:38.599
I love that Again animal Control, and the program is
76
00:03:38.639 --> 00:03:41.439
called Animal Control. It's on Fox and then again available
77
00:03:41.560 --> 00:03:43.680
starting the next day on Hulu, which is is a
78
00:03:43.719 --> 00:03:47.759
cool thing because here's the thing. People really do like
79
00:03:47.879 --> 00:03:49.759
to be able to click a button and watch what
80
00:03:49.800 --> 00:03:52.199
they want when they want. It's an amazing time that
81
00:03:52.240 --> 00:03:53.039
we live in Vella.
82
00:03:53.199 --> 00:03:55.199
It's true. And I'm the same way, you know, I
83
00:03:55.319 --> 00:03:58.080
like to. My problem is I watch a lot of
84
00:03:58.120 --> 00:04:01.319
reality TV. So for me, it's if I want to
85
00:04:01.319 --> 00:04:03.599
watch like the Real Housewives, I have to start from
86
00:04:03.639 --> 00:04:06.759
the beginning. Oh, like I can't just drop in, so
87
00:04:07.159 --> 00:04:09.479
you know, I for some seasons, I have hundreds of
88
00:04:09.520 --> 00:04:12.879
episodes to watch, so that's you know, that's a little daunting,
89
00:04:13.000 --> 00:04:15.159
but for us it's not. It's not too bad. I
90
00:04:15.159 --> 00:04:19.800
think we have ten or twelve episodes ish a season,
91
00:04:19.959 --> 00:04:23.319
so you know, you've got around thirty episodes half hour.
92
00:04:23.879 --> 00:04:27.600
But it's a good comfort show. It's it's nothing, nothing
93
00:04:27.639 --> 00:04:31.800
too hard hitting, it's it's sweet, it's funny, it's silly
94
00:04:31.600 --> 00:04:33.160
and battling, you know, like.
95
00:04:33.480 --> 00:04:36.160
Raccoons, and you'll fall in love with the characters as well,
96
00:04:36.199 --> 00:04:36.920
each and every one of them.
97
00:04:36.959 --> 00:04:38.319
You're just going to fall in love with these people.
98
00:04:39.720 --> 00:04:41.600
Oh, thank you. I think so too. But thank you
99
00:04:41.639 --> 00:04:42.360
for saying that.
100
00:04:42.360 --> 00:04:43.639
That's really seat well, Vella.
101
00:04:43.720 --> 00:04:45.920
Thank you for your time, and we're excited for We
102
00:04:45.959 --> 00:04:48.240
got another season coming, hopefully, don't we We don't.
103
00:04:48.240 --> 00:04:50.480
We don't know yet, so we're kind of on pins
104
00:04:50.519 --> 00:04:52.560
and needles. Let's send us some.
105
00:04:52.560 --> 00:04:54.759
Goodbye, crossing our fingers and hoping for that.
106
00:04:55.079 --> 00:04:57.759
Thank you, Thank you us too, but I appreciate.
107
00:04:57.360 --> 00:04:59.720

00:02:37.719 --> 00:02:40.159
you know, the writers, we all kind of you know,
57
00:02:40.159 --> 00:02:41.879
know each other now, and we know each other as
58
00:02:42.000 --> 00:02:44.759
friends and actors, and the writers know us, and so
59
00:02:45.240 --> 00:02:47.439
they really start to write for who you are as
60
00:02:47.479 --> 00:02:50.919
an actor and the character. So we all feel like
61
00:02:51.000 --> 00:02:53.960
this is our favorite season yet. Yeah, so it's a
62
00:02:54.000 --> 00:02:57.280
good time if you don't know the show. We're really
63
00:02:57.319 --> 00:02:59.800
cooking in the third season. So it's kind of fun
64
00:02:59.840 --> 00:03:04.240
you and binge it and our finales our finales on Thursday.
65
00:03:04.639 --> 00:03:06.360
And I was to say the season finale is the
66
00:03:06.360 --> 00:03:10.000
thirteenth of March. But if people miss this or if
67
00:03:10.000 --> 00:03:12.879
they're going, well, I can't start by watching the season finale,
68
00:03:13.000 --> 00:03:16.319
they can also watch the streaming on Hulu, is right, Yes, we.
69
00:03:16.400 --> 00:03:20.319
Luckily it's just a few weeks ago. We got seasons
70
00:03:20.319 --> 00:03:23.199
one and two are on there now, so people online
71
00:03:23.240 --> 00:03:25.840
were really like Veella, like, I can't watch season one
72
00:03:25.960 --> 00:03:28.840
or two, and because they just had a few episodes
73
00:03:28.879 --> 00:03:31.759
up and now everything is up, which is so exciting,
74
00:03:31.840 --> 00:03:34.439
so you can you can kind of watch from the beginning.
75
00:03:34.719 --> 00:03:38.599
I love that Again animal Control, and the program is
76
00:03:38.639 --> 00:03:41.439
called Animal Control. It's on Fox and then again available
77
00:03:41.560 --> 00:03:43.680
starting the next day on Hulu, which is is a
78
00:03:43.719 --> 00:03:47.759
cool thing because here's the thing. People really do like
79
00:03:47.879 --> 00:03:49.759
to be able to click a button and watch what
80
00:03:49.800 --> 00:03:52.199
they want when they want. It's an amazing time that
81
00:03:52.240 --> 00:03:53.039
we live in Vella.
82
00:03:53.199 --> 00:03:55.199
It's true. And I'm the same way, you know, I
83
00:03:55.319 --> 00:03:58.080
like to. My problem is I watch a lot of
84
00:03:58.120 --> 00:04:01.319
reality TV. So for me, it's if I want to
85
00:04:01.319 --> 00:04:03.599
watch like the Real Housewives, I have to start from
86
00:04:03.639 --> 00:04:06.759
the beginning. Oh, like I can't just drop in, so
87
00:04:07.159 --> 00:04:09.479
you know, I for some seasons, I have hundreds of
88
00:04:09.520 --> 00:04:12.879
episodes to watch, so that's you know, that's a little daunting,
89
00:04:13.000 --> 00:04:15.159
but for us it's not. It's not too bad. I
90
00:04:15.159 --> 00:04:19.800
think we have ten or twelve episodes ish a season,
91
00:04:19.959 --> 00:04:23.319
so you know, you've got around thirty episodes half hour.
92
00:04:23.879 --> 00:04:27.600
But it's a good comfort show. It's it's nothing, nothing
93
00:04:27.639 --> 00:04:31.800
too hard hitting, it's it's sweet, it's funny, it's silly
94
00:04:31.600 --> 00:04:33.160
and battling, you know, like.
95
00:04:33.480 --> 00:04:36.160
Raccoons, and you'll fall in love with the characters as well,
96
00:04:36.199 --> 00:04:36.920
each and every one of them.
97
00:04:36.959 --> 00:04:38.319
You're just going to fall in love with these people.
98
00:04:39.720 --> 00:04:41.600
Oh, thank you. I think so too. But thank you
99
00:04:41.639 --> 00:04:42.360
for saying that.
100
00:04:42.360 --> 00:04:43.639
That's really seat well, Vella.
101
00:04:43.720 --> 00:04:45.920
Thank you for your time, and we're excited for We
102
00:04:45.959 --> 00:04:48.240
got another season coming, hopefully, don't we We don't.
103
00:04:48.240 --> 00:04:50.480
We don't know yet, so we're kind of on pins
104
00:04:50.519 --> 00:04:52.560
and needles. Let's send us some.
105
00:04:52.560 --> 00:04:54.759
Goodbye, crossing our fingers and hoping for that.
106
00:04:55.079 --> 00:04:57.759
Thank you, Thank you us too, but I appreciate.
