5
00:00:12.160 --> 00:00:12.759
So excited.
6
00:00:12.919 --> 00:00:14.919
Now, anyone who's listening right now and I say the
7
00:00:14.960 --> 00:00:17.800
word David, They're like, okay, bat David. Yeah, but like
8
00:00:17.879 --> 00:00:19.600
that's not how you spell it, So tell them how
9
00:00:19.640 --> 00:00:21.039
we spell David d four ved.
10
00:00:21.239 --> 00:00:23.480
It's also my Fortnite user name if anybody wants to
11
00:00:23.519 --> 00:00:26.079
run some duos or squads on open and you know what.
12
00:00:26.039 --> 00:00:27.519
That's exactly what we're going to start off.
13
00:00:27.559 --> 00:00:30.280
Because I first spoke with you a few years ago,
14
00:00:30.640 --> 00:00:32.960
and this is when you were like busting through that
15
00:00:33.000 --> 00:00:36.560
glass ceiling. Let's just talk about the beginning days for you.
16
00:00:36.759 --> 00:00:40.320
So you started off making video.
17
00:00:40.119 --> 00:00:43.439
Montages and posting them on YouTube. Why did you do that?
18
00:00:43.759 --> 00:00:45.560
I was a Fortnite player. I was making a lot
19
00:00:45.600 --> 00:00:47.640
of money on YouTube too. I was like making montages.
20
00:00:47.679 --> 00:00:50.159
I was doing like the best gaming teams. I was
21
00:00:50.200 --> 00:00:52.719
making a lot of bread and then I got DMCA
22
00:00:52.840 --> 00:00:55.600
strikes and copyright strikes smaller artists. I was usually songs
23
00:00:55.600 --> 00:00:58.000
from my videos. So I went to my mom and
24
00:00:58.039 --> 00:00:59.119
I asked her, I don't know what to do. I
25
00:00:59.119 --> 00:01:01.200
don't want to go to college. Mom, I'm making money. No,
26
00:01:01.320 --> 00:01:05.159
it's my job. I just got fired exactly right. And
27
00:01:05.200 --> 00:01:06.760
she was like, how about you just make your own song?
28
00:01:07.000 --> 00:01:08.719
So I went, I looked at how to make music
29
00:01:08.760 --> 00:01:10.719
on iPhone. Made my first song.
30
00:01:10.560 --> 00:01:12.599
That night was that Romantic Homicide.
31
00:01:12.640 --> 00:01:15.239
I wasn't I was like eight songs before Romantic Homicide.
32
00:01:15.239 --> 00:01:18.280
Okay, So it took you like eight songs until the
33
00:01:18.400 --> 00:01:21.519
real viral moment came through, because romantic Homicide is what
34
00:01:21.640 --> 00:01:22.799
really changed everything for you.
35
00:01:22.959 --> 00:01:24.640
Right before then, I wasn't even on six side like that,
36
00:01:24.719 --> 00:01:27.120
so I wasn't promoting anything anywhere.
37
00:01:27.159 --> 00:01:29.560
But Fortnite just made the song, put in the video,
38
00:01:30.159 --> 00:01:30.560
that's it.
39
00:01:30.599 --> 00:01:32.680
And then you're like, all right, whatever, I'm gonna try
40
00:01:32.799 --> 00:01:36.079
this TikTok thing, and Romantic Homicide.
41
00:01:35.719 --> 00:01:37.359
Just blew up just like that.
42
00:01:37.519 --> 00:01:40.079
Oh my god, that is absolutely crazy. And you've had
43
00:01:40.200 --> 00:01:43.359
such a successful journey. It's so good to see this
44
00:01:43.400 --> 00:01:46.200
full circle moment because I can't even believe it.
45
00:01:46.239 --> 00:01:47.400
You have a big moment with.
46
00:01:47.400 --> 00:01:50.599
Fortnite, yep, yep much of a full circle moment?
47
00:01:50.719 --> 00:01:51.280
Is this for you?
48
00:01:51.519 --> 00:01:53.280
Absolutely insane?
49
00:01:53.359 --> 00:01:56.079
I mean I remember, just like the first time at
50
00:01:56.120 --> 00:01:58.120
the games reached out to work on the EMO for
51
00:01:58.280 --> 00:02:00.840
the song that Different Invincible, and I was like, bro, mom,
52
00:02:00.879 --> 00:02:04.200
in Fortnite, I'm playing the game, the game, so now
53
00:02:04.239 --> 00:02:06.480
it's like to have something specifically for the game and
54
00:02:06.519 --> 00:02:08.919
to be a super interactive with the fan base over there.
55
00:02:08.919 --> 00:02:10.400
And now I was like, it's a blessing. It's crazy.
56
00:02:10.719 --> 00:02:13.439
That is absolutely crazy? Is it the official Fortnite album?
57
00:02:13.800 --> 00:02:14.280
I am thumb?
58
00:02:14.319 --> 00:02:14.439
Now?
59
00:02:14.560 --> 00:02:17.280
It's for a tournament called FNCS, which is like a
60
00:02:17.280 --> 00:02:19.599
big professional tournament where everybody comes and competes for like
61
00:02:19.639 --> 00:02:21.400
a bunch of money, and it's the anthem for that.
62
00:02:21.560 --> 00:02:22.199
It's crazy.
63
00:02:22.360 --> 00:02:25.919
What is like David five years ago thinking right now,
64
00:02:26.520 --> 00:02:29.400
you did it?
65
00:02:29.479 --> 00:02:30.520
Oh my gosh.
66
00:02:30.599 --> 00:02:32.759
Okay, well, let's talk about the new song I Love
67
00:02:32.840 --> 00:02:35.680
You that's with Hannah Bang and I kind of love.
68
00:02:35.919 --> 00:02:38.159
The story that I've heard so far is that you
69
00:02:38.240 --> 00:02:41.039
guys met at a concert and you meshed. Yeah, and
70
00:02:41.080 --> 00:02:44.000
then where did the moment from the concert too, Let's
71
00:02:44.000 --> 00:02:44.919
just make a song together.
72
00:02:45.159 --> 00:02:48.800
Literally, So essentially we met at a straight kids concert
73
00:02:49.159 --> 00:02:52.680
and we were dancing on like the cam thing and
74
00:02:52.759 --> 00:02:55.280
I the cam they put us on like the Fancamp
75
00:02:55.319 --> 00:02:57.800
and I was like, okay, say let's so after that,
76
00:02:57.919 --> 00:02:59.520
I got her number, and then I was working on
77
00:02:59.560 --> 00:03:01.520
a couple of was on band lab for my Deluxe
78
00:03:01.919 --> 00:03:03.879
and I was like, you know what, I had a
79
00:03:03.879 --> 00:03:05.400
good time last night, and I just sent it to
80
00:03:05.439 --> 00:03:06.840
her the next day, literally the next day.
81
00:03:06.960 --> 00:03:08.639
This is how a lot of the collabs I do happen.
82
00:03:08.719 --> 00:03:10.319
It's like I meet somebody, I get the number, and
83
00:03:10.360 --> 00:03:11.599
then I make a song and they get the song
84
00:03:11.639 --> 00:03:13.360
the next day. Same thing with Kliuchi, same thing with
85
00:03:13.400 --> 00:03:15.680
everybody else. So I sent the song to Hannah and
86
00:03:15.680 --> 00:03:17.159
she was like, oh my gosh, thank you so much,
87
00:03:17.319 --> 00:03:19.800
and she recorded her verse the day after that, and
88
00:03:19.840 --> 00:03:21.080
the song was done in like three days.
89
00:03:21.080 --> 00:03:21.800
It was so crazy.
90
00:03:21.919 --> 00:03:23.840
I love how quick it all happens for you because
91
00:03:23.840 --> 00:03:25.319
you don't leave room to overthink.
92
00:03:25.360 --> 00:03:27.599
You're just like, this is the raw idea and we're
93
00:03:27.639 --> 00:03:28.199
just gonna.
94
00:03:28.039 --> 00:03:29.560
Roll with it. Yeah yeah wow.
95
00:03:29.599 --> 00:03:32.599
And then so she directed the music video, which was
96
00:03:32.719 --> 00:03:33.280
so cute.
97
00:03:33.360 --> 00:03:35.280
I mean, everyone wants to be on the beach frolicking
98
00:03:35.400 --> 00:03:35.599
like that.
99
00:03:35.840 --> 00:03:38.560
I know, have you ever worked with someone that directly
100
00:03:38.560 --> 00:03:40.159
on a video that was also directing it?
101
00:03:40.199 --> 00:03:42.280
Because she was like, the love interest, but she's also.
102
00:03:42.080 --> 00:03:45.199
Your director, right, No, she's so talented and like her
103
00:03:45.240 --> 00:03:48.000
vision is so like it's so in sync with like
104
00:03:48.360 --> 00:03:50.840
whatever the team wants to do on the artistic vision
105
00:03:50.879 --> 00:03:51.439
and the music.
106
00:03:51.639 --> 00:03:52.479
She's just like the best.
107
00:03:52.520 --> 00:03:54.199
Are we going to get more collabs from you guys?
108
00:03:54.199 --> 00:03:54.639
Hopefully?
109
00:03:55.000 --> 00:03:56.759
He I was like, is she gonna be here to Heart?
110
00:03:57.080 --> 00:03:58.039
I know she's on her own tour.
111
00:03:58.159 --> 00:03:59.560
Yeah, she's gonna pull up in Chicago.
112
00:03:59.759 --> 00:04:04.479
Oh okay, cool? Okay, So you dropped Weathered back in April? Correct?
113
00:04:05.159 --> 00:04:08.280
Now, can I get anything out of you on when
114
00:04:08.319 --> 00:04:09.520
we're getting that deluxe?
115
00:04:09.599 --> 00:04:12.080
I get Okay, So I turned it in three days ago.
116
00:04:12.199 --> 00:04:14.240
You do? The cover, just finished, the back covers down,
117
00:04:14.240 --> 00:04:17.000
the chat list is uploaded. Everything is good now. And
118
00:04:17.560 --> 00:04:18.839
what I can say is I got a couple of
119
00:04:18.839 --> 00:04:21.199
features Malcolm Todd, Keshi who the two that I have
120
00:04:21.279 --> 00:04:23.399
revealed so far, And there's like a couple more than
121
00:04:23.439 --> 00:04:24.319
I have to keep secret.
122
00:04:24.319 --> 00:04:25.839
But yeah, it's on.
123
00:04:25.800 --> 00:04:28.040
The way, like everyone just know, like it's literally.
124
00:04:27.839 --> 00:04:31.240
Processing very soon, literally uploading to the SPS right now.
125
00:04:31.720 --> 00:04:32.639
I love it. I love it.
126
00:04:32.680 --> 00:04:35.160
Okay, So you've been on the road for a little
127
00:04:35.199 --> 00:04:38.279
more than a month now, right, and you're doing over
128
00:04:38.319 --> 00:04:41.000
fifty five shows, which is insane. Yeah, but what can
129
00:04:41.120 --> 00:04:44.240
fans expect tonight? And like what's the favorite part of
130
00:04:44.279 --> 00:04:46.160
your show? And then added the layer of it being
131
00:04:46.240 --> 00:04:47.319
sold out, like that's.
132
00:04:47.160 --> 00:04:48.519
Crazy, good question.
133
00:04:48.680 --> 00:04:50.920
I mean the shows in the past three years have
134
00:04:50.959 --> 00:04:53.240
been like really rock focused, and then with it is
135
00:04:53.279 --> 00:04:56.759
like more of like an alternative pop album, like bedroom pop.
136
00:04:56.839 --> 00:05:00.000
So it's kind of it's less rocky now. It's more
137
00:05:00.079 --> 00:05:03.879
more of like an interactive, wholesome experience. Like I used
138
00:05:03.920 --> 00:05:06.439
to scream so loud in twenty twenty three and like
139
00:05:06.800 --> 00:05:09.120
ruin my vocal cords every night, but now I kind
140
00:05:09.160 --> 00:05:11.399
of get to show my vocal progression and like how
141
00:05:11.439 --> 00:05:13.759
strengthened my voice is now and I'm actually singing to
142
00:05:13.800 --> 00:05:16.480
the crowd and screaming at them and that's special, Yeah,
143
00:05:16.560 --> 00:05:17.079
very special.
144
00:05:17.120 --> 00:05:19.360
And your vocal cords are probably thanking.
145
00:05:19.120 --> 00:05:21.600
You oh a lot every day every day. It's like yo,
146
00:05:21.720 --> 00:05:22.079
thank you.
147
00:05:22.720 --> 00:05:24.759
So with so many shows and being on the road
148
00:05:24.800 --> 00:05:27.959
like crazy, what is the one thing that keeps you sane?
149
00:05:28.959 --> 00:05:32.839
Video games and praying? Praying before playing video games.
150
00:05:32.560 --> 00:05:35.040
Too, And that makes a big difference because you're kind
151
00:05:35.040 --> 00:05:38.240
of like wiring your brain. That's something I'm really learning about,
152
00:05:38.279 --> 00:05:39.879
like thinking positively or praying.
153
00:05:39.920 --> 00:05:43.040
Those are so important to like get your head right exactly.
154
00:05:43.040 --> 00:05:45.000
Because and I don't sleep like when I get on
155
00:05:45.040 --> 00:05:47.959
the bus. We've all developed like some sort of insomnia
156
00:05:48.000 --> 00:05:49.040
in the past, like three weeks.
157
00:05:49.040 --> 00:05:50.879
I haven't slept in like forty eight hours. It's crazy.
158
00:05:50.959 --> 00:05:51.639
Oh my god.
159
00:05:51.959 --> 00:05:53.560
So I want to ask you something real quick, because
160
00:05:53.560 --> 00:05:55.160
I know last time we talked you were in your
161
00:05:55.160 --> 00:05:56.399
fashion era you had done.
162
00:05:56.279 --> 00:05:57.240
Something with Valentino.
163
00:05:58.240 --> 00:06:01.720
Did you know that Columbus is the third biggest fashion hub.
164
00:06:01.519 --> 00:06:02.000
In the nation.
165
00:06:02.240 --> 00:06:03.199
I didn't. That's crazy.
166
00:06:03.240 --> 00:06:04.800
I just thought you would find that so cool.
167
00:06:05.279 --> 00:06:08.079
So we're like in the running with LA and New York,
168
00:06:08.160 --> 00:06:10.759
and we have like a lot of home based brands
169
00:06:10.759 --> 00:06:14.079
here like Abercrombie, DSWL brands, and so they have a
170
00:06:14.079 --> 00:06:15.839
lot of really talented designers here.
171
00:06:15.879 --> 00:06:17.519
Can I find something like local malls?
172
00:06:17.560 --> 00:06:21.079
Absolutely like local We have it's called Columbus Fashion Alliance,
173
00:06:21.120 --> 00:06:24.000
and it's like a nonprofit. They actually have a boutique
174
00:06:24.040 --> 00:06:27.160
down in downtown where these local designers make clothes and
175
00:06:27.160 --> 00:06:29.519
they sell them. And I just thought you'd appreciate that
176
00:06:29.519 --> 00:06:29.959
little too.
177
00:06:30.160 --> 00:06:31.720

So yeah, thank you so much, David for your time today.
184
00:06:42.439 --> 00:06:45.079

00:06:45.120 --> 00:06:46.639
with you on platforms?
186
00:06:46.839 --> 00:06:50.240

5
00:00:12.160 --> 00:00:12.759
So excited.
6
00:00:12.919 --> 00:00:14.919
Now, anyone who's listening right now and I say the
7
00:00:14.960 --> 00:00:17.800
word David, They're like, okay, bat David. Yeah, but like
8
00:00:17.879 --> 00:00:19.600
that's not how you spell it, So tell them how
9
00:00:19.640 --> 00:00:21.039
we spell David d four ved.
10
00:00:21.239 --> 00:00:23.480
It's also my Fortnite user name if anybody wants to
11
00:00:23.519 --> 00:00:26.079
run some duos or squads on open and you know what.
12
00:00:26.039 --> 00:00:27.519
That's exactly what we're going to start off.
13
00:00:27.559 --> 00:00:30.280
Because I first spoke with you a few years ago,
14
00:00:30.640 --> 00:00:32.960
and this is when you were like busting through that
15
00:00:33.000 --> 00:00:36.560
glass ceiling. Let's just talk about the beginning days for you.
16
00:00:36.759 --> 00:00:40.320
So you started off making video.
17
00:00:40.119 --> 00:00:43.439
Montages and posting them on YouTube. Why did you do that?
18
00:00:43.759 --> 00:00:45.560
I was a Fortnite player. I was making a lot
19
00:00:45.600 --> 00:00:47.640
of money on YouTube too. I was like making montages.
20
00:00:47.679 --> 00:00:50.159
I was doing like the best gaming teams. I was
21
00:00:50.200 --> 00:00:52.719
making a lot of bread and then I got DMCA
22
00:00:52.840 --> 00:00:55.600
strikes and copyright strikes smaller artists. I was usually songs
23
00:00:55.600 --> 00:00:58.000
from my videos. So I went to my mom and
24
00:00:58.039 --> 00:00:59.119
I asked her, I don't know what to do. I
25
00:00:59.119 --> 00:01:01.200
don't want to go to college. Mom, I'm making money. No,
26
00:01:01.320 --> 00:01:05.159
it's my job. I just got fired exactly right. And
27
00:01:05.200 --> 00:01:06.760
she was like, how about you just make your own song?
28
00:01:07.000 --> 00:01:08.719
So I went, I looked at how to make music
29
00:01:08.760 --> 00:01:10.719
on iPhone. Made my first song.
30
00:01:10.560 --> 00:01:12.599
That night was that Romantic Homicide.
31
00:01:12.640 --> 00:01:15.239
I wasn't I was like eight songs before Romantic Homicide.
32
00:01:15.239 --> 00:01:18.280
Okay, So it took you like eight songs until the
33
00:01:18.400 --> 00:01:21.519
real viral moment came through, because romantic Homicide is what
34
00:01:21.640 --> 00:01:22.799
really changed everything for you.
35
00:01:22.959 --> 00:01:24.640
Right before then, I wasn't even on six side like that,
36
00:01:24.719 --> 00:01:27.120
so I wasn't promoting anything anywhere.
37
00:01:27.159 --> 00:01:29.560
But Fortnite just made the song, put in the video,
38
00:01:30.159 --> 00:01:30.560
that's it.
39
00:01:30.599 --> 00:01:32.680
And then you're like, all right, whatever, I'm gonna try
40
00:01:32.799 --> 00:01:36.079
this TikTok thing, and Romantic Homicide.
41
00:01:35.719 --> 00:01:37.359
Just blew up just like that.
42
00:01:37.519 --> 00:01:40.079
Oh my god, that is absolutely crazy. And you've had
43
00:01:40.200 --> 00:01:43.359
such a successful journey. It's so good to see this
44
00:01:43.400 --> 00:01:46.200
full circle moment because I can't even believe it.
45
00:01:46.239 --> 00:01:47.400
You have a big moment with.
46
00:01:47.400 --> 00:01:50.599
Fortnite, yep, yep much of a full circle moment?
47
00:01:50.719 --> 00:01:51.280
Is this for you?
48
00:01:51.519 --> 00:01:53.280
Absolutely insane?
49
00:01:53.359 --> 00:01:56.079
I mean I remember, just like the first time at
50
00:01:56.120 --> 00:01:58.120
the games reached out to work on the EMO for
51
00:01:58.280 --> 00:02:00.840
the song that Different Invincible, and I was like, bro, mom,
52
00:02:00.879 --> 00:02:04.200
in Fortnite, I'm playing the game, the game, so now
53
00:02:04.239 --> 00:02:06.480
it's like to have something specifically for the game and
54
00:02:06.519 --> 00:02:08.919
to be a super interactive with the fan base over there.
55
00:02:08.919 --> 00:02:10.400
And now I was like, it's a blessing. It's crazy.
56
00:02:10.719 --> 00:02:13.439
That is absolutely crazy? Is it the official Fortnite album?
57
00:02:13.800 --> 00:02:14.280
I am thumb?
58
00:02:14.319 --> 00:02:14.439
Now?
59
00:02:14.560 --> 00:02:17.280
It's for a tournament called FNCS, which is like a
60
00:02:17.280 --> 00:02:19.599
big professional tournament where everybody comes and competes for like
61
00:02:19.639 --> 00:02:21.400
a bunch of money, and it's the anthem for that.
62
00:02:21.560 --> 00:02:22.199
It's crazy.
63
00:02:22.360 --> 00:02:25.919
What is like David five years ago thinking right now,
64
00:02:26.520 --> 00:02:29.400
you did it?
65
00:02:29.479 --> 00:02:30.520
Oh my gosh.
66
00:02:30.599 --> 00:02:32.759
Okay, well, let's talk about the new song I Love
67
00:02:32.840 --> 00:02:35.680
You that's with Hannah Bang and I kind of love.
68
00:02:35.919 --> 00:02:38.159
The story that I've heard so far is that you
69
00:02:38.240 --> 00:02:41.039
guys met at a concert and you meshed. Yeah, and
70
00:02:41.080 --> 00:02:44.000
then where did the moment from the concert too, Let's
71
00:02:44.000 --> 00:02:44.919
just make a song together.
72
00:02:45.159 --> 00:02:48.800
Literally, So essentially we met at a straight kids concert
73
00:02:49.159 --> 00:02:52.680
and we were dancing on like the cam thing and
74
00:02:52.759 --> 00:02:55.280
I the cam they put us on like the Fancamp
75
00:02:55.319 --> 00:02:57.800
and I was like, okay, say let's so after that,
76
00:02:57.919 --> 00:02:59.520
I got her number, and then I was working on
77
00:02:59.560 --> 00:03:01.520
a couple of was on band lab for my Deluxe
78
00:03:01.919 --> 00:03:03.879
and I was like, you know what, I had a
79
00:03:03.879 --> 00:03:05.400
good time last night, and I just sent it to
80
00:03:05.439 --> 00:03:06.840
her the next day, literally the next day.
81
00:03:06.960 --> 00:03:08.639
This is how a lot of the collabs I do happen.
82
00:03:08.719 --> 00:03:10.319
It's like I meet somebody, I get the number, and
83
00:03:10.360 --> 00:03:11.599
then I make a song and they get the song
84
00:03:11.639 --> 00:03:13.360
the next day. Same thing with Kliuchi, same thing with
85
00:03:13.400 --> 00:03:15.680
everybody else. So I sent the song to Hannah and
86
00:03:15.680 --> 00:03:17.159
she was like, oh my gosh, thank you so much,
87
00:03:17.319 --> 00:03:19.800
and she recorded her verse the day after that, and
88
00:03:19.840 --> 00:03:21.080
the song was done in like three days.
89
00:03:21.080 --> 00:03:21.800
It was so crazy.
90
00:03:21.919 --> 00:03:23.840
I love how quick it all happens for you because
91
00:03:23.840 --> 00:03:25.319
you don't leave room to overthink.
92
00:03:25.360 --> 00:03:27.599
You're just like, this is the raw idea and we're
93
00:03:27.639 --> 00:03:28.199
just gonna.
94
00:03:28.039 --> 00:03:29.560
Roll with it. Yeah yeah wow.
95
00:03:29.599 --> 00:03:32.599
And then so she directed the music video, which was
96
00:03:32.719 --> 00:03:33.280
so cute.
97
00:03:33.360 --> 00:03:35.280
I mean, everyone wants to be on the beach frolicking
98
00:03:35.400 --> 00:03:35.599
like that.
99
00:03:35.840 --> 00:03:38.560
I know, have you ever worked with someone that directly
100
00:03:38.560 --> 00:03:40.159
on a video that was also directing it?
101
00:03:40.199 --> 00:03:42.280
Because she was like, the love interest, but she's also.
102
00:03:42.080 --> 00:03:45.199
Your director, right, No, she's so talented and like her
103
00:03:45.240 --> 00:03:48.000
vision is so like it's so in sync with like
104
00:03:48.360 --> 00:03:50.840
whatever the team wants to do on the artistic vision
105
00:03:50.879 --> 00:03:51.439
and the music.
106
00:03:51.639 --> 00:03:52.479
She's just like the best.
107
00:03:52.520 --> 00:03:54.199
Are we going to get more collabs from you guys?
108
00:03:54.199 --> 00:03:54.639
Hopefully?
109
00:03:55.000 --> 00:03:56.759
He I was like, is she gonna be here to Heart?
110
00:03:57.080 --> 00:03:58.039
I know she's on her own tour.
111
00:03:58.159 --> 00:03:59.560
Yeah, she's gonna pull up in Chicago.
112
00:03:59.759 --> 00:04:04.479
Oh okay, cool? Okay, So you dropped Weathered back in April? Correct?
113
00:04:05.159 --> 00:04:08.280
Now, can I get anything out of you on when
114
00:04:08.319 --> 00:04:09.520
we're getting that deluxe?
115
00:04:09.599 --> 00:04:12.080
I get Okay, So I turned it in three days ago.
116
00:04:12.199 --> 00:04:14.240
You do? The cover, just finished, the back covers down,
117
00:04:14.240 --> 00:04:17.000
the chat list is uploaded. Everything is good now. And
118
00:04:17.560 --> 00:04:18.839
what I can say is I got a couple of
119
00:04:18.839 --> 00:04:21.199
features Malcolm Todd, Keshi who the two that I have
120
00:04:21.279 --> 00:04:23.399
revealed so far, And there's like a couple more than
121
00:04:23.439 --> 00:04:24.319
I have to keep secret.
122
00:04:24.319 --> 00:04:25.839
But yeah, it's on.
123
00:04:25.800 --> 00:04:28.040
The way, like everyone just know, like it's literally.
124
00:04:27.839 --> 00:04:31.240
Processing very soon, literally uploading to the SPS right now.
125
00:04:31.720 --> 00:04:32.639
I love it. I love it.
126
00:04:32.680 --> 00:04:35.160
Okay, So you've been on the road for a little
127
00:04:35.199 --> 00:04:38.279
more than a month now, right, and you're doing over
128
00:04:38.319 --> 00:04:41.000
fifty five shows, which is insane. Yeah, but what can
129
00:04:41.120 --> 00:04:44.240
fans expect tonight? And like what's the favorite part of
130
00:04:44.279 --> 00:04:46.160
your show? And then added the layer of it being
131
00:04:46.240 --> 00:04:47.319
sold out, like that's.
132
00:04:47.160 --> 00:04:48.519
Crazy, good question.
133
00:04:48.680 --> 00:04:50.920
I mean the shows in the past three years have
134
00:04:50.959 --> 00:04:53.240
been like really rock focused, and then with it is
135
00:04:53.279 --> 00:04:56.759
like more of like an alternative pop album, like bedroom pop.
136
00:04:56.839 --> 00:05:00.000
So it's kind of it's less rocky now. It's more
137
00:05:00.079 --> 00:05:03.879
more of like an interactive, wholesome experience. Like I used
138
00:05:03.920 --> 00:05:06.439
to scream so loud in twenty twenty three and like
139
00:05:06.800 --> 00:05:09.120
ruin my vocal cords every night, but now I kind
140
00:05:09.160 --> 00:05:11.399
of get to show my vocal progression and like how
141
00:05:11.439 --> 00:05:13.759
strengthened my voice is now and I'm actually singing to
142
00:05:13.800 --> 00:05:16.480
the crowd and screaming at them and that's special, Yeah,
143
00:05:16.560 --> 00:05:17.079
very special.
144
00:05:17.120 --> 00:05:19.360
And your vocal cords are probably thanking.
145
00:05:19.120 --> 00:05:21.600
You oh a lot every day every day. It's like yo,
146
00:05:21.720 --> 00:05:22.079
thank you.
147
00:05:22.720 --> 00:05:24.759
So with so many shows and being on the road
148
00:05:24.800 --> 00:05:27.959
like crazy, what is the one thing that keeps you sane?
149
00:05:28.959 --> 00:05:32.839
Video games and praying? Praying before playing video games.
150
00:05:32.560 --> 00:05:35.040
Too, And that makes a big difference because you're kind
151
00:05:35.040 --> 00:05:38.240
of like wiring your brain. That's something I'm really learning about,
152
00:05:38.279 --> 00:05:39.879
like thinking positively or praying.
153
00:05:39.920 --> 00:05:43.040
Those are so important to like get your head right exactly.
154
00:05:43.040 --> 00:05:45.000
Because and I don't sleep like when I get on
155
00:05:45.040 --> 00:05:47.959
the bus. We've all developed like some sort of insomnia
156
00:05:48.000 --> 00:05:49.040
in the past, like three weeks.
157
00:05:49.040 --> 00:05:50.879
I haven't slept in like forty eight hours. It's crazy.
158
00:05:50.959 --> 00:05:51.639
Oh my god.
159
00:05:51.959 --> 00:05:53.560
So I want to ask you something real quick, because
160
00:05:53.560 --> 00:05:55.160
I know last time we talked you were in your
161
00:05:55.160 --> 00:05:56.399
fashion era you had done.
162
00:05:56.279 --> 00:05:57.240
Something with Valentino.
163
00:05:58.240 --> 00:06:01.720
Did you know that Columbus is the third biggest fashion hub.
164
00:06:01.519 --> 00:06:02.000
In the nation.
165
00:06:02.240 --> 00:06:03.199
I didn't. That's crazy.
166
00:06:03.240 --> 00:06:04.800
I just thought you would find that so cool.
167
00:06:05.279 --> 00:06:08.079
So we're like in the running with LA and New York,
168
00:06:08.160 --> 00:06:10.759
and we have like a lot of home based brands
169
00:06:10.759 --> 00:06:14.079
here like Abercrombie, DSWL brands, and so they have a
170
00:06:14.079 --> 00:06:15.839
lot of really talented designers here.
171
00:06:15.879 --> 00:06:17.519
Can I find something like local malls?
172
00:06:17.560 --> 00:06:21.079
Absolutely like local We have it's called Columbus Fashion Alliance,
173
00:06:21.120 --> 00:06:24.000
and it's like a nonprofit. They actually have a boutique
174
00:06:24.040 --> 00:06:27.160
down in downtown where these local designers make clothes and
175
00:06:27.160 --> 00:06:29.519
they sell them. And I just thought you'd appreciate that
176
00:06:29.519 --> 00:06:29.959
little too.
177
00:06:30.160 --> 00:06:31.720
You got to get the Columbus Fashion Week.
178
00:06:32.000 --> 00:06:33.680
Yes, I can give you that info.
179
00:06:33.800 --> 00:06:36.120
But it's it's really cool to see like a city
180
00:06:36.199 --> 00:06:38.319
like Columbus leveled up, you.
181
00:06:38.279 --> 00:06:38.839
Know, New York.
182
00:06:38.920 --> 00:06:39.480
That's so cool.
183
00:06:39.639 --> 00:06:42.319
So yeah, thank you so much, David for your time today.
184
00:06:42.439 --> 00:06:45.079

185
00:06:45.120 --> 00:06:46.639
