ABOUT THIS EPISODE

Harmony Korine made the A24 version of MIAMI VICE...

...and still the world was not satisfied. Including your hosts! Mainly the one from Florida who does not recognize the rap success from his home area as portrayed by James Franco.

Meanwhile another host lives in fear of the alternate version of this film that stars Emma Watson. This film does not exist and so he remains forever grateful to Ashley Benson and is checking out her latest work as a cam girl in ALONE AT NIGHT. As an act of appreciation and for podcast research of course.

Our final host just feels like he was born in the wrong place and time. A wistful episode for SPRING BREAKERS as we begin our new season celebrating 1983-2013 and how old and perverted we increasingly are. Enjoy!

Aug. 2, 2023

On March 19, 1993 even Bridget Fonda confused Dermot Mulroney with Dylan McDermott. Doesn't matter. He's just a man who will be fed ravioli erotically. And we all win by witnessing this act. Do we thank Gabriel Byrne? Anne Bancroft? Who trained Ms. Fonda to be the ultimate assassin and supportive …

2013 at the Movies: TRANCE

Aug. 15, 2023

On April 5, 2013 Rosario Dawson got out the clippers. And cinema was never the same. As was James McAvoy. As was OUR EYES. After this visual delight director Danny Boyle has us believing in all manner of nonsense such as the convoluted mechanisms need to pull off the complicated art heist that ult…

2003 at the Movies: BASIC

Aug. 8, 2023

On March 28, 2003 John Travolta put on a clever ruse. John McTiernan is the director of PREDATOR, DIE HARD and most importantly BASIC. If you have forgotten this military thriller starring Samuel L. Jackson (150 lbs soaking wet and with a cape!), Connie Nelson (of THE DEVIL'S ADVOCATE... you remem…

Two Months of Date Nights with ANYONE BUT YOU

March 6, 2024

Two months of living with a Sydney Sweeney/Glen Powell pairing and we can't go back to anything else. Well... maybe, Zoey Deutch. After some hesitation based on years of mistrust one co-host finally took his wife to a proper date night movie with plenty of butt stuff (comedic) and shirtless men …
