In episode fifty-one of Skip’d, Rob & Mike dive into Hold Your Colour, the ground-breaking debut album from Pendulum. Released in 2005, Hold Your Colour helped redefine drum and bass for a new generation, blending breakneck beats with rock influences, soaring melodies, and anthemic song writing. The result was an album that crossed genre boundaries and became one of the defining electronic releases of the 2000s.
From explosive club favourites to emotionally charged vocal tracks, Rob & Mike unpack what made Hold Your Colour such a landmark record, exploring its production, its influence on electronic music, and why it continues to resonate with fans nearly two decades later. Whether you discovered Pendulum on the dancefloor, through a festival headline set, or are hearing the album for the first time, this episode explores why Hold Your Colour remains an enduring classic.
