ABOUT THIS EPISODE
Episode 5: Behind the Brackets – Interview with Charlotte Sable
In this follow-up to our Commander Brackets Beta discussion, Shattered Signal welcomes a very special guest: Charlotte Sable, a longtime Magic: The Gathering player and a member of the Commander Format Panel (CFP)—the team behind the newly released Commander Brackets matchmaking system.
We sit down with Charlotte to take a deeper look at how the Brackets system was created, the philosophy behind it, and the goals it hopes to achieve for Commander players across all power levels. We also chat with Charlotte about her journey through Magic: The Gathering, her love for Commander, and how she became a part of the CFP.
This episode is equal parts fun, informative, and interesting, with a relaxed conversation that digs into the future of Commander play.
Whether you're curious about the inner workings of the CFP or just love hearing passionate people talk about MTG, this is one you won’t want to miss!
