Reveil: Inside Walter Thompson's Nightmare

Sailor and Lunar step into the circus-soaked nightmare of REVEIL, Pixelsplit’s psychological horror walking sim, to find out if it actually earns the P.T. comparisons everyone keeps throwing around.

We break down Walter Thompson’s search for his missing wife and daughter, the unsettling Nelson Bros. Circus setting, the shifting rooms, the memory-soaked horror, and the puzzle design that ranges from clever to absolutely cursed. We also talk about where the atmosphere shines, where the pacing drags, and whether REVEIL’s story hits hard enough to make the slower stretches worth it.

Full spoilers ahead. If you have not finished REVEIL, this is your warning before we drag you into the circus tent and start unpacking the trauma.

Scream Queen Sessions is a horror gaming podcast hosted by Lunar and Sailor, where we play horror games, spiral over the lore, and decide what deserves to haunt us permanently.
