GTA IV: But it was there's not many holidays where you could be sitting outside drinking a beer There's not that many good fall holidays. We're talking like warm weather warm weather
SCWEEBY BOI: No, there's really you're kind of holding on to summer for a little bit, another month, tops,

SCWEEBY BOI: and then you're it's Halloween. Halloween is a month long holiday now, depending on your children's

SCWEEBY BOI: age. I've never had them dress up in a costume less than three times, I think. And sometimes it's multiple costumes and multiple trip and treating events. Like that's just how it goes now. Halloween

SCWEEBY BOI: And we got wrestling on Sunday and Monday from the WWE too.
GTA IV: Yeah. You know something? I completely forgot about Sunday Night Main Event. completely.
SCWEEBY BOI: so did I. So did I. I started watching it like an hour in
GTA IV: Yeah.
SCWEEBY BOI: and had to rewind and stuff. It had like the the trick stuff spoiled for me with YouTube
GTA IV: Yep.
SCWEEBY BOI: posts. And it was like Gotta remember. That's what that's how I knew I forgot. You can't open social media. And you're gonna get
GTA IV: You can't meet, yeah, or else you're toast.
SCWEEBY BOI: they're gonna spoil it right away.
GTA IV: Yeah. I think we did terrible with our picks, right? Yeah, I think
SCWEEBY BOI: good. Good.
GTA IV: we all did, because we had the same picks, but we did pretty bad. But great.
SCWEEBY BOI: Great. It was a bad event. It was another bad Saturday, Sunday, whatever you want to call it. I thought maybe because it was Sunday they'd do a little bit more, but they managed to make even a marquee Bron Breaker of anything. Not that interesting. Yeah. Bron
GTA IV: Right. And you know.
SCWEEBY BOI: Serene came back. It was kind predictable. Like, you know, Frank did call that. He didn't have like the
GTA IV: Greg, we'll give Greg a little credit for calling it, right?
SCWEEBY BOI: perfect call, but it was like 99% there. Yeah,
GTA IV: Mm-hmm.
SCWEEBY BOI: they interfered, so he technically still won, but then he. Ate a bunch of tsunamis and showed up the next night still shrutting.
GTA IV: bunch. See, now here's the thing, Bronson Reed came back, he's looking pretty cut up and lean, and he's still doing the tsunami. Does it have the same effect now that he lost all that weight?

GTA IV: got all the love but there's some other other stuff I want to go through with you on that but we'll get to that in a little bit

GTA IV: I Don't know what there is to talk about wrestling wise we got we got some stuff

There's nothing because we had a great SummerSlam that opened things up and set up some great stuff, brought back some key characters, and now we've kind of just gone back into blase. I don't know how. Usually they crank they're usually they're able to ramp up from moments like this, but we've kind of hit another lull.

SCWEEBY BOI: man. I'm like in love with the company. If they ever come around again, I'm going to the show, no questions asked. Like zero like I've been buying tickets right away. But I don't care about watching TV.
GTA IV: What can they do to improve to get people hooked on that on that TV show?
SCWEEBY BOI: I I think they're doing fine, man. I think that's they were already had a good TV deal in place that was making the company profitable. So I don't think they're too worried about you know it's

SCWEEBY BOI: it's great that they can get increased viewership, but they're not, you know, I'm engaged enough for them to make some money off of me, so I don't think they care if I watch the show.

Like it all just it was so good. I and and yeah, that's the one thing we should still be talking about. Giving us that great moment, whatever. That's it's still the best thing that happened. Like all in was so good, it still should still be talking.

SCWEEBY BOI: I got rid of the Switch. I wasn't playing it, dude. Every time I went to boot that thing up, it was Uber dead. Uber it would I'd have to charge it for 24 hours to get it to come back on because I wouldn't have played it for years. this is a great thing, you know. I sa I saw some clips of it. I think it's gonna be great. I think it's gonna be great.

SCWEEBY BOI: And you know, especially if they remix it a little bit. Not a not a you know, not a one to one. You're gonna

SCWEEBY BOI: go through through all that trouble to re-render the whole thing and and update the mechanics and stuff. It's funny when they show the old game, you're like, geez, so far ahead of its time, dude, with the targeting and the you know, obviously it it had to
GTA IV: the open world.
SCWEEBY BOI: Yeah, it like that's there are many things that get remastered and very few of them deserve it. This is not the case with that.
GTA IV: Absolutely.
SCWEEBY BOI: Yeah. So I yeah, I will not play it, but I will

SCWEEBY BOI: I I I appreciate it and it should it should be I would be more likely if I owned a Switch to play that than I would be Breath of the Wild too, man, 'cause that that thing was just asking too much.
GTA IV: I have Breath of the Wild and I still think I've only played it for about two hours total.
SCWEEBY BOI: The new one. It's too there's too much going on, man. They would have went off they went too far. And that's somebody who

SCWEEBY BOI: for the first game did every single one of those mini puzzles. One hundred mini puzzles like I I did
GTA IV: Yeah, yeah, no, and I'm sure that's how you are. Yeah.
SCWEEBY BOI: not mess around with that first one. It did the whole thing.
GTA IV: But there's like, to me it was too much of the same game. I wanted something a little bit different, think.
SCWEEBY BOI: Right, right. They're like, let's crank it all up, but
GTA IV: Yeah.
SCWEEBY BOI: they they actually needed to swerve a little. You know, if you go back
GTA IV: Yeah.
SCWEEBY BOI: to your old NES cells, like w you know, one to two you know, two to totally different games. They just had the same same. Yeah.
GTA IV: Yeah. Totally. Two could not have been more different than one. You know, especially graphics wise, but, I dunno. I was watching, I-
SCWEEBY BOI: No nonetheless a great thing to get to get the buzz going. I am living in old boomer land, man. I am just trying to sh stick it to Sony and get as much free physical media from my local library while I still can. And yep, that's gonna
GTA IV: Yeah, guess yeah, that's true. I didn't think about that that feels
SCWEEBY BOI: who knows what's gonna happen with renting games from your local library. So, you know, I've brought up my you know destiny addiction before, and part of that is you don't play other games. So I have a decade of stuff that I can dip back into and very recently have just hit some bangers that I missed. Ghost of Fiote, Claire Obscura

SCWEEBY BOI: 33, and now I am obsessed with Final Fantasy 16. There could not be a game more made for me than this Final Fantasy. It is it's Devil May Cry with damage numbers. What a gr and like I'm like skipping all the dialogue in the side stories because the main story is so good.

GTA IV: good.
SCWEEBY BOI: want to like c like be able to absorb all that and take it in. So I just like I'm doing every side quest, just skipping the dialogue. But wow, they really went went for it with that one. It always amazes me how much voice acting is in some games. TTA will be like that also. Like some games just have so much voice acting in it.
GTA IV: Well, especially, but think about all the NPCs too now in GTA that are gonna have voices,
SCWEEBY BOI: Yeah.
GTA IV: I'm sure they are. You're just gonna walk around on the street and you're gonna hear people like, know, yelling and you know, doing all kinds of stuff.
SCWEEBY BOI: Yeah. It's can't wait. I you know, just to but just to see that, you know, and I'm sure I'll find some other some other gems in there, but I was glad to see today that this new Wolverine game, nah, not that good. And so I'm not gonna be compelled to purchase it. It's getting some okay ratings, maybe like an eighty, maybe a seventy nine or something like that. I know that matters a lot to some people, but
GTA IV: I've never been into a ton of the superhero games, but is that similar to...
SCWEEBY BOI: Well, it's n it's Insomniac who made the Spider Man ones also, but obviously
GTA IV: I
SCWEEBY BOI: it's a completely different it's just a linear action game.
GTA IV: It's not like Arkham Asylum, right?
SCWEEBY BOI: A little bit, but I've I've all I've heard is that people are not that into even the combat of it. So it's apparently it's you know it's just another miss from them. And then to get even deeper in video game news, do you know that they have stopped working with Kojima on his like Manogar solid spiritual successor?

SCWEEBY BOI: He they were gonna cancel it, so Kojima being the businessman he is, he's just taking the IP to Xbox. So the game is not dead.

And so I'm not gonna be compelled to purchase it. It's getting some okay ratings, maybe like an eighty, maybe a seventy nine or something like that. I know that matters a lot to some people, but
