We didn't keep talking about our favorite story from yesterday, that the back of the rental car into the Fountain Hyde Park. He's a French National. He's been here for two weeks and he backed into the French fountain.
00:05:00
Speaker 1: Trying to figure out how that actually happened. I want to see footage of it. There's a Grainy FOOTAGECTV footage.
00:05:07
Speaker 2: Grainy apparently did twenty thousand dollars damage to the fountain. He was d renting a car to deliver macas. One of the police officers on the news yesterday made me laugh though, eating the food when police arrived on scene.
00:05:20
Speaker 1: So I'm sure there's some unhappy customer out there who still haven't had.
00:05:24
Speaker 2: Their macs delivered to Adiga. Apparently it was all good. There was no drugs or alcohol in his system, but he'd have one of those weird canisters in the car, you know, one of those Oh did it allegedly? But I did see it on the news, But I think I guess I have to say allegedly.
00:05:38
Speaker 1: Oh my god, like a like, what did you chop up the hose for?

00:05:57

There's nothing for vivid there at the moment to be spectrum. The light situation, all the mirrors was unbelievable. Anyway, they're taking it over the Winded Tunnels, transforming House of Dragon pop Up for season three. So if you and you love a tunnel like I do, go check that out.
00:06:27
Speaker 5: How cool are you going to go down?
00:06:28
Speaker 1: Would you take the kids down there?
00:06:29

00:06:44
Speaker 1: Okay.
00:06:44
Speaker 2: She used AI to write an opinion piece for the Sydney Morning Herald urging students to avoid using tech to cut corners.
00:06:53
Speaker 1: Oh I like that. I love that.
00:06:56
Speaker 5: I love her LazyTown, LazyTown?
00:06:59
Speaker 1: Was she doing it? Like? Ironically?
00:07:03

00:07:34
Speaker 1: Yeah, because from La, if you fly La to Vegas, it's only like a fifty minute flight. So yes, land us in Vegas straight away to cut out the middle man, do all that boring stuff.

00:14:00
Speaker 2: Where in Sydney would you release thirty two million mosquitoes? Basically? Where is a dump? Where is somewhere that you just don't like. It could be a road, could be an intersection, could be a suburb. Yeah, thirteen twenty four ten, we will hook you up with the Double Pass two Masters of the Universe, which is in cinemas today, and I'll tell you why. The mosquitoes, okay, are involved. Okay, now, don't ask me why Google is doing this, but Google is seeking approval to release thirty two million mosquitoes across California and Florida as a part of a debugging program. Right, Okay, So there is this virus called the West Nile virus and it was detected in California. Now, no human cases have been confirmed, but officials are ramping up monitoring. So what the plan is? Go with me here, Okay. The plan is to release male mosquitoes that don't bite, but they can spread disease.
00:14:54
Speaker 5: Real well, go go, really good to spreading their setod go boys.
00:14:57
Speaker 2: Yeah, they don't bite though, but god they can at a disease, but they can outbreed populations that do spread disease. So Google are releasing thirty two million mosquitos in this part of California and Florida to help get rid of this viral because it's a dump.
00:15:18
Speaker 1: So what is the virus again?
00:15:20

Speaker 2: No, that's West Nile horror and virus.
00:15:28
Speaker 1: Slow hands Likeway fourteen, give us a call.
00:15:33
Speaker 2: Someone will have to have an area in town where you're sitting in traffic right now that they'd like to release thirty two million mosquitoes. I will say the intersection of Crystal Street and Paramatta Road, Impetersham. Okay, it's a hole, yes, so much? What's so bad there? So quick to turn right across Paramatta Road and you were stuck in that little right hand lane on Paramatter Road to go on to Crystal Street for ages and there's no.
00:16:00
Speaker 5: The way that you can kind of maneuver around.
00:16:03
Speaker 2: Yeah, yes, you can go all the way down to the stand more macas. But that's annoying. I want to release thirty two million mosquitoes on that area to clear the traffic.
00:16:10
Speaker 1: Just get them out of the Boddy way.
00:16:12
Speaker 2: Out of the way. What about the little loop road outside Patty's Markets of Flemington wherever I get take a wrong turn when I'm taking the kids to bounce at home Bush, I always take a wrong turn, end up in his little loop road that goes under and overpass and then splits off like an idiot. Thirty two million mosquitoes bang?
00:16:29
Speaker 1: You know your mate Rebel Wilson. Oh, yeah, she would want to let them free on the rose El interchange. Yes, because she had to get a chopper to work one day.
00:16:38
Speaker 2: As long as that doesn't interrupt the.
00:16:40
Speaker 1: Chopper though, yeah, would they would. It would mean she didn't have to get the chopper.
00:16:44
Speaker 2: You don't go very far around. I'm really trying to leave your area.
00:16:50
Speaker 1: I'm really trying to rack my brain for somewhere.
00:16:53
Speaker 5: But I really don't.
00:16:55
Speaker 1: I live in the city and I don't really I don't really.
00:16:58
Speaker 2: Fine, you don't have to thirty four callers, Where do you want to release thirty two million mosquitoes in Sydney? And why Daniel in Kingsgrove morning mates Bording?
00:17:12
Speaker 1: Thank god, they're very good. I'm I'm so intrigued. Where do you want to release the muzzies Castilla?
00:17:20
Speaker 3: All right?
00:17:22
Speaker 2: Why they never had a nice time.
00:17:27
Speaker 3: Ugly enjoying that?
00:17:31
Speaker 12: All right?
00:17:32

00:17:48
Speaker 1: Involved, because they're involved in everything. I mean, that's an amazing amount of mozzies and.
00:17:55
Speaker 2: I think this is right. Can you can you fact check me? Top four most dangerous animals?
00:18:01
Speaker 1: Are you asking or you're going to tell me?
00:18:03
Speaker 2: I think I know? Okay, So what do you think?
00:18:05
Speaker 5: Aren't there mum moses, pretty.
00:18:07
Speaker 2: Mosquito's are number one?
00:18:08
Speaker 12: Yeah?
00:18:10
Speaker 2: I think it goes humans. Second, Yeah, then I think it goes snakes. Then I think it goes dogs. What as the animals that kill the most? People will fact check that?
00:18:21
Speaker 1: I would say, I would say, like there'd be a shark in there.
00:18:26
Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, mosquitoes, humans, snakes, dogs, what dogs?
00:18:32
Speaker 1: Same?
00:18:32

00:18:37
Speaker 11: Dog?
00:18:37

Speaker 2: Really late. And Tim on Nova Cowboys is here, editor of The Sydney Morning. Hell it's good food, guy.
00:18:50
Speaker 10: Take.
00:18:51
Speaker 2: I'm just talking about how you're shifted the narrative a bit. When looking for restaurants. It's all about PRAM access for you.
00:18:58
Speaker 10: Now I'm on Google re Use looking at those images and trying to work out, Oh, I can just fit a Buggaboo down the side.
00:19:04

She's like, you like, you'll, you'll, you'll have another kid, so just make sure, just you know, just get this. You'll be saving money in the long run. I was like, we not have another one, so you say that.
00:19:34
Speaker 2: So is this the bram Access edition of Where Are You Eating? No, it's not Restaurant of the Week. Then let's do that.
00:19:40
Speaker 10: I don't think you could get a pram into the food court at the Galleries and the CBD of Sydney pretty busy at lunchtime there. So, but I'm very excited about a new place there called Rice Face. So this police Arounderson. She owns a bunch of chat tire restaurants. 00:21:23
Speaker 2: My takeaway bagh not good.
00:21:26
Speaker 1: I always wonder who those clothes are for. I don't think I've ever seen anyone wearing those kinds of clothes.
00:21:31
Speaker 10: Not for a man who's six foot two, I can tell you.
00:21:34
Speaker 2: Okay, So that is rice face in the city. What about our suburban heroes?
00:21:38
Speaker 10: Ah, Okay, So I'm very excited. I haven't been yet, but this place was popped off a little bit on the internet. It's called keb Up. So kebab Up and they're doing German style kebabs.
00:21:51
Speaker 1: What the German style kebab?
00:21:53
Speaker 10: So glad you asked, Ricky Lee. So in Turkey you kabab will just be kind of like I play with maybe some rice and vegetables. So Germany was the country that started putting it into bread. Really, yes, please Turkish listeners don't phone in, but that's what a lot of research says that Turkey. That's sorry, Germany did it first. So and so these ones in in body reg ot, in capramatta, I haven't really seen them like this before. In Sydney. You can get them all over Berlin and they're stuffed in like a big like pit role like super super fluffy bread. And then they'll do three sauces. You'll get yogurt sauce, You'll get a garlic sauce, which is more like a ranch sauce than a tomb and then there'll be like a German cocktail sauce, which should have a bit of mayonnaise and ketchup and brandy in it. Uh, and then just stuff with fried vegetables, red cabbage, which if you're Turkish, you don't eat red cabbage with red meat. A lot of the time, so that's that's an issue. But like they look so delicious. I've had them before in Berlin. Some super keen to get out to Bonnie or you can try a German style kebab from this food truck cab Up.
00:22:59
Speaker 2: If anyone's been to cab Up thirteen twenty four ten, just call us now and just give it. Give it, give it a thumbs up, thumbs up for us if you've been to keb Up in Bonnie Ree Dish of the week.
00:23:09
Speaker 10: Dish of the week. Here's what I have been to, which is up at Brookvale, just the northern beaches there, so it's called Bizarre and Bar. These guys have been here for a few months now. They've got a place in mainly called Sketch, which is the coffee shop. And it's amazing that you can go to an industrial estate in Brookvale and have amazing cocktails and great natural wine served with amazing Indian food. So it's kind of modern Indian. I don't think it's from any region in particular. It's a bit all over the place. But the dish that I had on the weekend was called labor sorry lal Muss, and it's this Rajasthani mutt and curry. They use goat from the Gourmet Goat Lady up near Dubbo. If you're a restaurant goat in Sydney, you go to the Gourmet.
00:23:55
Speaker 2: Goat Lady.
00:23:58
Speaker 12: To be.
00:24:02
Speaker 2: I reckon. I don't know.
00:24:04
Speaker 10: I'm not going to comment, but but this curry, oh my gosh, with these beautiful, earthy chilis so much deep spices, like a rural winter dish with this beautiful goat which just falls away and when you've got a glass of temporanello on the side. That's kind of like it's going to sound like a bit of a food waker now, but those earthy tannins are that red wine with that beautiful goat curry, those heavy spices. That's been one of the best things I've eaten so far this year.
00:24:30
Speaker 1: You just make me want to eat. I know everything in sight.
00:24:34
Speaker 2: I saw your Instagram.
00:24:35
Speaker 10: Actually you've restaurants, but the.
00:24:38
Speaker 1: Weekend the Bela Butchata, it was kind of similar ish to that kept up like the pizza bread with stuff, with all the stuff. Oh my gosh. Yeah, I've been really getting out there. I feel like you you're really going to ruin my waistline.
00:24:52
Speaker 2: You might have to move your segment to like nine on Fridays, so if you had straight there. So Rice facing the CBD is the restaurant of the week, carebar Bonnie ree, I'm heading straight there and dish of the week the la must goat Curry in Brookville. Callum boys, we will read you in the Sidney Morning Herald's Good Weekend on Saturday. We'll see you next week. Thanks, thank you.
00:25:16
Speaker 1: Do you remember last week we were talking about how my nephew who's fourteen, yes, didn't know what we were talking about when we were talking about CD sleeves and CD stuckers in our cars all that kind of stuff having now called sub.
00:25:29
Speaker 2: Wolf in the back yet or the pioneer stereo that you clipped off and put in your handbag or something so no one would.
00:25:36
Speaker 1: When you went to the club. Well anyway, I mean CDs. Basically Spotify and Apple Music have basically phased out digital music has really phased out physical CDs. I know there's there's artists that do you know, still do vinyls sell CDs and cassettes for merch and stuff like that, but it's not like it's phasing out yeah, it's not really part of people's lives anymore. But I've seen a handful of other things that are that are potentially going to be extinct within the next ten years. One I think two things in particular that are going to kind of upset you quite a bit, okay, And I can't wait to get your reaction when we get to them, because we'll all know the ones that Tim's really passionate about it.
00:26:16
Speaker 2: I'm not going to listen along like everybody.
00:26:19
Speaker 1: Else, So this this one, I'm I'm I'm down for. Apparently, passwords are gonna be phased out. Apple, Google, and Microsoft have committed to a passwordless future that they'll be like past keys and biometric or authentication.
00:26:34
Speaker 2: Face recognition and stuff like that.
00:26:36
Speaker 7: I like that.
00:26:37
Speaker 2: I mean I do.
00:26:38
Speaker 1: Update my password every year, like across every single platform and device, like once a year, like there's a date that I do it, and I change everything. So this will save me heaps of time. But you know the thing that can die the authenticator app.
00:26:51
Speaker 2: Do you ever have to hear like that and then you put like fifty four in it goes yes, No, it's fine.
00:26:56
Speaker 1: You get accidentally signed out of the authenticator app.
00:26:59
Speaker 5: Try and get it back in.
00:27:00
Speaker 2: It's a night miss apps on your list because I know Elon Musk said, in the next five years there'll be no apps really yeah, and we'll just have an interface like a screen.
00:27:09
Speaker 5: Kind of like Minority Report.
00:27:11
Speaker 2: Yeah, just like a screen. You just like, you know, you'll know what you need and what you want. You know about that that'll happen.
00:27:16
Speaker 1: There's some really cooked thing that that guy says. I think that might be one of them.
00:27:19
Speaker 5: Okay, print newspapers gone.
00:27:23
Speaker 2: Well luck you said that after Kellen Boys left. I love the Saturday City Morning Held is like my favorite thing to do. It's such a part of your crossword. Yeah. I mean there's a lot of people I've got the City Morning Held app. I hate doing the crossword on the app though.
00:27:36
Speaker 1: But do you do it on your phone or do you have like a big iPad to do it on because I do it in the paper. Yeah, I know, but would you ever, No, I hate it.
00:27:42
Speaker 2: You would never do it on a big iPad because then you can cheat too, because it says a revealed letter and all that stuff, and then once you have that option, you can always do reveal a letter every day.
00:27:50
Speaker 5: There we go but there is something about the ritual right.
00:27:52
Speaker 2: Of like you like physical papers, and also I think in the time where you've got algorithms that are just completely catered to everything that you like. Yeah, I like turning the page and not knowing what's on the next page and maybe reading a story that you wouldn't necessarily click on.
00:28:05
Speaker 5: But you can do You can do that with the today's paper in the app.
00:28:08
Speaker 1: I read the paper on my iPath.
00:28:11
Speaker 11: I like it.
00:28:12
Speaker 1: Okay, So your old school newspapers are always going to be around for you, Okay.
00:28:16
Speaker 11: I like this.
00:28:16
Speaker 1: Physical keys Apparently Calm manufacturers have committed to remove it, removing physical keys from new models by twenty twenty seven. So from next year, no car keys. Receipts are going to become digital receipts.
00:28:29
Speaker 2: Love that, yeah, jbhi Fi text me all the time.
00:28:32
Speaker 1: Sorted global pen sales have dropped over fifty percent since twenty ten. Schools in Scandinavia have already removed handwriting from their curriculum entirely. That's digital note taking replacing handwriting.
00:28:48
Speaker 2: Handwriting makes you retain information. I was telling my daughter she was doing she's doing a project on Eddie Marble at the moment for school, when we're doing Q cards. On the weekend, we're writing our cue cards.
00:28:58
Speaker 1: It's really a part. It really is for remembering things. But anyway, you've better stock up on your box of favorite pens. You've got to get some to get some of those French pens.
00:29:08
Speaker 2: Friends and Tim.
00:29:11
Speaker 7: On Nova, there's a renewed push for a three day work week. Unions are backing a plan for fewer days of work or at least decreased hours at the same rate of favor. I mean, you guys were chatting about this earlier. Do you think the worker could soon be extinct?
00:29:28
Speaker 2: Well, it feels like they're trying to extinct themselves, Like wouldn't you want to work as hard as possible to show people that you can't be replaced by the AI robots.
00:29:36
Speaker 7: Well, it's interesting because this push, which has been labeled a war on work, comes as productivity numbers in Australia have been released.
00:29:45
Speaker 1: And I'll tell you what, we're pretty extinct when it comes to it.
00:29:49
Speaker 2: Is so bad.
00:29:50
Speaker 7: Our economy is so sluggish because nothing's getting done.
00:29:56
Speaker 1: Nobody wants to do anything. Everyone wants to WFH. I mean that's right, and that's but also get paid for by whom and for what?
00:30:05
Speaker 2: Please pay me and give me all the lever. And I'm also not coming in much.
00:30:08
Speaker 8: Is that cool?
00:30:10
Speaker 1: I think there's a word for it.
00:30:11
Speaker 7: I think it's called communism more than and this is all kind of off the back as well of a new report from Deloitte which shows eighty occupations are likely to be disrupted by artificial intelligence. Accountants, librarians, and travel agents are among the job to be most impacted by technology.
00:30:33
Speaker 1: They've said that if you can work from home.
00:30:34
Speaker 7: Full time, AI is coming for you, and they can outsource your job to someone not to a robot, or to someone overseas. I mean, I get it. There's like I'm a working mum too. You have to have some flexibility, yes, and I think that's been a really big game change. But to expect small business that is copying it from all levels, whether it be income tax comp true, you can't then say well, I don't want to work and I still want to get paid, like there's no magic money tree.
00:31:07
Speaker 1: I just wonder though, if the kids are growing up with kind of all of this in mind. I was talking to my little sister, She's sixteen and the drive and ambition to work hard just isn't really there. It's like to go the extra mile, to put in the extra hours, to do the extra stuff, to kind of like climb the ladder like we all had to it, just it seems like it's not there.
00:31:30
Speaker 2: Before school, I was going to radio stations.
00:31:32
Speaker 1: Before you do things for the experience and to kind of cut your tea like it's just a it's a it's a different time. Yeah.
00:31:38
Speaker 7: I feel like in some ways, the younger generations have much better boundaries.
00:31:43
Speaker 2: Like the stuff that we copped.
00:31:44
Speaker 7: I mean I remember getting dressed down in newsrooms for making the tiniest of mistakes and you know, almost having panic attacks. But it did make me better at my job. But but you know, younger people coming through and going, I'm not putting up with that.
00:31:59
Speaker 2: What if what's on the three day work week thirteen twenty four teen? Would you do it? Give us a call, come on, get involved. What would you do with your other four days? You know, complain, complain about the three days you have to do? All right, So we've got mel In Northmead, who is going to weigh in on the three days from home? What would you do? It.
00:32:22
Speaker 11: Hello, mel Hello, Hello, No, No, I mean I'm of like, maybe ten years or so older than you team. I was out hustling, you know, part time jobs when I was young, always putting in the extra hours.
00:32:36
Speaker 6: And I mean you mentioned that.
00:32:38
Speaker 11: They're getting paid the same amount. So what does three days work at the same rate as paid?
00:32:44
Speaker 4: What's it going to get you?
00:32:45
Speaker 2: Yeah, my goodness, don't do it people, otherwise the robots will come for you. Get into it.
00:32:50
Speaker 1: People don't care. That's the weirdest part. But they're still on the money.
00:32:55
Speaker 2: Okay, I don't understand. Let's let's flip it and do tattoo regrets next. I've got a good story for you. Twenty three to wait another ninety six point nine nineteen to wait. I'm going to hold my tattoo story because our phone's are going crazy.
00:33:09
Speaker 1: They are. I love this. People are very passionate about this three day working week.
00:33:13
Speaker 2: Sarah had it in her news at seven thirty about a push for a three day working week.
00:33:18
Speaker 1: Yeah, come on, seemingly very divising. People are very angry about it.
00:33:23
Speaker 2: I like it. What a moss been think, Belinda?
00:33:26
Speaker 4: Oh look, I think it's ridiculous. No one's felt this through. If you were off four days off work, I'd need to earn more than what I earn now because it is so expensive. Like, seriously, what are people thinking?
00:33:37
Speaker 1: I know it's crazy, isn't it. I feel like people aren't thinking and that's the problem.
00:33:42
Speaker 4: So it sounds great that seriously couldn't afford to do it?
00:33:45
Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't understand everyone's complaining, but you can't get into how you can't get a house and you can't get this and you need money and you have to work and you work money for the money and it's not a charity like jo, I know what's what's opening? Two days for the weekend is enough? Like are your machine gun? Kelly? You need to fit into your weekend?
00:34:07
Speaker 1: That three day weekend is always very fun, very fun, but it's like a novelty. You work hard and then you.
00:34:17
Speaker 2: Later Yeah, Susie and Campbelltown, what are your thoughts?
00:34:21
Speaker 4: It's all right when you're in office, but when you're a bus driver you don't have that opportunity for wrong hours. Carry the passages around. What if we did three days, how would you.
00:34:31
Speaker 1: Get to work exactly well? And also how do you make it fair for people? Because there are so many jobs that are you can't do you you can't do from home. You can't work three days stop from home. You need doctors and you need those and trained. Right, you need people in these jobs working all the time. And what happens for the people that do want to take those extra days off?
00:34:53
Speaker 2: Do you find, Susie on the bus?
00:34:55
Speaker 10: Is there?
00:34:56
Speaker 2: Is it quieter than it ever has been? Like do you think people are really working from home a lot more?
00:35:01
Speaker 4: No, it's actually getting quite busy. Like okay, I do the camel sound to Liverpool area and it's getting quite busy.
00:35:09
Speaker 2: All right, well, Campbelltown, Liverpool working hard. It seems just like the bougie in the city suburbs and maybe not working from Thank you, Susie, Maddie and Penrith, good morning.
00:35:19
Speaker 15: So I get why other people are against it, but I'm so for it. I think this would be really good for mums, like coming back to the workforce or whatever, and there'll be like less of like people saying not only mums workers like short week or whatever to look after their kids. This would normalize it across both genders and I think it would be really good for families.
00:35:34
Speaker 2: Yeah, look Sarah did to mention that I think it is good to have flexibility if you're a parent, but just to have something in kind of like in law to be.
00:35:43
Speaker 15: Because it would be normalized. It wouldn't be like parents wouldn't then feel the shame of having to do it, because it would just be the norm.
00:35:48
Speaker 13: I like that.
00:35:49
Speaker 5: I mean, it's a wonderful point of view. You can't really argue with.
00:35:52
Speaker 1: That, can you?
00:35:53
Speaker 2: Young people? Come on? I know I'm getting older, but seriously.
00:35:57
Speaker 1: Young people, nobody years. These are days?
00:36:00
Speaker 2: Huh?
00:36:01
Speaker 1: Really? Ly and Tim on Nova.
00:36:05
Speaker 2: Showed his kids news news. Okay, let's talk glossies. We spoke about Morgan Wallen earlier this week having a little.
00:36:15
Speaker 1: A little fight with his stand upright piano.
00:36:18
Speaker 2: He flipped it over.
00:36:20
Speaker 5: He's an angry man.
00:36:21
Speaker 2: He's angry. Apparently it wasn't working, but he's come clean and made a statement.
00:36:25
Speaker 13: Hey, I just want you.
00:36:26
Speaker 2: Guys know that right now, this piano he is working. But that's what they told me last night. He really pushed it.
00:36:36
Speaker 1: I think I need to push it over to make a point.
00:36:38
Speaker 2: But he's the guy that threw the chairs. He's a chair thrower, so of course he's a piano pusher.
00:36:42
Speaker 1: Of course he is. Hey, I saw this yesterday, which I thought you'd find really interesting. It was very very cool. Tom Hanks and Tim Allen are doing the press runs for the Toy Story five film that's coming out very soon, and he was doing this interview and he said that they had never ever recorded their parts to get which I just think is so strange. I thought, absolutely they would sit in the same room and kind of go back and riff each other.
00:37:07
Speaker 8: Yes, we don't record together. We have never recorded together.
00:37:11
Speaker 2: You have never been in the same recording.
00:37:13
Speaker 8: Here's the thing that if we are at the cunning edge of all technology as far as movie making, and they still have not figured out a way in order for us to be in the studio at the same time, feeding off each other's energy.
00:37:26
Speaker 2: I've heard that Jason Bateman was the voice of something. I think it might have been Secret Life of Pets or something like that, and he didn't realize who was in the cast with him until they went to the red carpet premiere, but they was doing it.
00:37:35
Speaker 1: I just how do they make it so Nutch like? It's incredible?
00:37:40
Speaker 2: Inin Theram's June eighteen, I cannot wait a toy? Sorry five? Okay, now does this sound like the worst care package of all time?
00:37:46
Speaker 1: Okay?
00:37:46
Speaker 2: Hit me limited edition matchbox Flower Sprinkles, honey with honeycomb, the complete as Ever candle range, and Megan's leather bookmark. She's gifted that to a very controversial person, one who's very very publicly criticized. Her in laws Prince William and Princess Kate and Meghan has gifted this person. Yeah, a gift package, a care package saying dear JT, thank you for the anniversary wishes, a few treats for you to enjoy as ever. Meg. It sounds like if anyone gave me that for a present, that's that's staying at work.
00:38:26
Speaker 1: Yeah, like my flower that I gave you. I gave you a letter of flower.
00:38:29
Speaker 2: Put that in the office.
00:38:30
Speaker 1: She's really not taking care of It's look so sad over there.
00:38:33
Speaker 2: I will sound it up. What's more sad is the videos and pictures of you making them yesterday. What is the last today?
00:38:40
Speaker 1: So this is very cool, Pink.
00:38:42
Speaker 2: We all love her.
00:38:43
Speaker 1: She's incredible. I think we can all sign off on she's amazing and we love her. She's moved her entire family to New York to support her daughter, Willow's dream of performing on Broadway. She says that Willow had to and the kids they had to follow her for their whole life, and now it's their turn to do that. In return, her dream is to be on Broadway.
00:39:02
Speaker 16: She has followed me around the world her whole life, on and off tour, and I told her it's your turn, we'll follow you. But he's more talented than I ever was at her age. She's a hard worker, She's an A plus student. She once said, I want to get Broadway out of the way so I can be a trauma surgeon.
00:39:18
Speaker 12: Is it that a shit?
00:39:19
Speaker 1: Like? Incredible?
00:39:21
Speaker 2: That is my kids of that age, because my daughter wants to be a fashion designer and a scientist. I love it.
00:39:27
Speaker 7: Five really And Tim on Nova, let's talk irrational fears.
00:39:34
Speaker 1: Yeah what you what are you afraid of? And for no good reason?
00:39:38
Speaker 2: Thirteen, twenty fourteen. Alright, so a fear that is irrational? Yeah, not like you know, the home invasion, that's a rational fear.
00:39:45
Speaker 1: Yeah, absolutely, Like shark attacks things like that rational, absolutely rational.
00:39:50
Speaker 5: But my irrational fear.
00:39:51
Speaker 2: Thirtay, twenty four ten. By the way, if you have one.
00:39:54
Speaker 1: This is something that I just naturally do and have always done. Is I refuse to walk like step on drain covers or manholes like things like that. I will not step on one.
00:40:05
Speaker 2: That story we saw in here yesterday, Yes, that's.
00:40:07
Speaker 1: What I'm talking about. So that has like fully ignited my irrationals. Something was It was in Rio de Janeiro, same thing, but so rich.
00:40:16
Speaker 5: And every time we go.
00:40:17
Speaker 1: Walking, he's the only one that notices it. If you ever go walking with me now, you'll notice it. But I will not. I will not step on one because it just freaks me out. A man or a little drain covers, like a little great like anything like that.
00:40:28
Speaker 5: I will not do it because I'm terrified of.
00:40:30
Speaker 1: This exact thing happening.
00:40:32
Speaker 2: He's a poor lady. She was walking on the street.
00:40:36
Speaker 1: It's the most shocking footage. We will put it up on our Instagram after this. She's walking along the street. She's just on her phone. She's just having that you know, lovely day, lovely stroll. We've all done that. We've all walked down the street on our phone, not really paying attention. You're aware of your surroundings.
00:40:51
Speaker 2: It just like a person in the world, not paying any attention in your own world.
00:40:56
Speaker 1: And she has stepped on her I mean most there's a lot of people wouldn't fit in falling in that thing. So she stepped on on on the manhole, the little drain cover thing, and it has flipped up like a coin vertical, and she has fallen straight through the thing, and then the thing closed on top of that.
00:41:16
Speaker 2: She kind of hits her head as.
00:41:17
Speaker 1: Well, hits her head and just but fully, just like disappears into the inter.
00:41:22
Speaker 2: I wonder if she saw a splinter, Oh, mate, splinder down there, splinter in the turtles cow Bunger.
00:41:28
Speaker 1: Who was your who was your Ninja Turtle?
00:41:30
Speaker 2: I was Raphael and Donatello? I just I went back and forth. The Seth Brogen remake of that was really funny. The animated Teenagemut Turtle is a really good film. Put it.
00:41:43
Speaker 1: I'll be sure to watch that.
00:41:44
Speaker 5: What's your irrational feed?
00:41:45
Speaker 2: We don't know if it's irrational, but it probably is because I'm forty four. But it's not all spiders at all. It's just huntsmen, okay, that come into my space. So if I why if I saw a huntsman in here? I would not care, yeap, But if I saw one out in the world. But when they're in the home, I get really scared and so much side that I'm too scared to spray it with more teene. And I'm certainly too scared to put a cup over it and slip some paper under it. So what I do, No, I just walk away. I leave the room until it's left the room, and then I just go It didn't happen. But you know how, I'm ignorance is a bliss person. I don't. But if as long as I can't see it, I don't see it because I just feel that he will be more scared or she will be more scared of me than I am of it. So I just leave the area.
00:42:34
Speaker 1: But paint the picture when you see.
00:42:37
Speaker 2: When you see it, don't make a scene.
00:42:38

00:05:43
Speaker 8: No?
00:05:43
Speaker 2: No, no, no, no no no no no no one that you kind of maybe whipped cream with.
00:05:48
Speaker 5: I believe, like I really misread that noise say the word ones no.
00:05:55
Speaker 1: You know if you know that, say you don't say you can't.
00:05:57
Speaker 2: It's alleged. It's all into an alleged name. So a House of Dragon pop Up is taking over the Sydney Tunnels. You know my favorite little tunnels, the wingyd Tunnels. Yeah, vivid.
00:06:29
Speaker 2: I did that this weekend.
00:06:30
Speaker 5: That'd be fun.
00:06:32
Speaker 2: Guess what I want to induct someone you into our little newtown of LazyTown. We might do that tomorrow.
00:06:37
Speaker 5: Okay, amazing.
00:06:38
Speaker 2: But there's a new citizen of LazyTown, I think a Western Sydney University professor. Let's call her kath Ellis.
Like? Ironically?
00:07:03
Speaker 2: I don't believe, so that Cydney Morning Herald to remove the article from their websites. So they're not happy. They're like, no, no, we don't love am we don't love Aicha.
00:07:12
Speaker 9: I know.
00:07:14
Speaker 2: And finally, this is pretty cool, quite as we'll launch a direct flight from Sydney to Vegas in December.
00:07:20
Speaker 1: I did see this and I got very excited.
00:07:22
Speaker 2: You and I for the NL Open year two. You got to storm the Titans and the Eels and the Tigers.
00:07:28
Speaker 1: Oh that's amazing.
00:07:29
Speaker 2: Thirteen hours fifty five and all of a sudden you're home and then you're in Vegas.
00:07:34
Speaker 1: Yeah, because from La, if you fly La to Vegas, it's only like a fifty minute flight. So yes, land us in Vegas straight away to cut out the middle man, do all that boring stuff.
00:07:48

00:13:57
Speaker 1: Yeah, this was a this is shocking.
00:15:20
Speaker 2: It's West Nile virus and.
00:15:23
Speaker 1: So it's not a human situation.
00:15:25
00:17:32
Speaker 2: Sure the mosquitos are coming. That's Daniel. That's Daniel doing that? Not ask Oh my god, you've done it, You've done I mean, there's plenty of places, but I don't know how they're going to do. And I don't know why Google are.
00:18:32
Speaker 2: Top four? Hey, that's insane. There you go? Dogs? Yeah?
00:18:37
Speaker 11: Dog?
00:18:37
Speaker 1: Well yes, okay, we're gonna have to talk about this.
00:18:41
Speaker 2: Really late. And Tim on Nova Cowboys is here, editor of The Sydney Morning. Hell it's good food, guy.
00:18:50
Speaker 10: Take.
00:18:51
Speaker 2: I'm just talking about how you're shifted the narrative a bit. When looking for restaurants. It's all about PRAM access for you.
00:18:58
Speaker 10: Now I'm on Google re Use looking at those images and trying to work out, Oh, I can just fit a Buggaboo down the side.
00:19:04
Speaker 2: Yeah you went bugaboo as well. I know, just use a bugaboo because it's funny because my buggaboo we had a double buggaboo and that was more expensive than my first car.
00:19:16
Speaker 5: Yeah, they're pretty insane, aren't They.
00:19:18
Speaker 10: Wasn't cheap either, I tell you what they get you at baby Bunting. Then she tried to upsell us too.
She inherited off her mother, the great Amy Chanter, who found a chat tire long time ago, best time Sidney.
00:20:01
Speaker 2: Chat Times everywhere tis everywhere.
00:20:03
Speaker 10: Yeah, plea own some, my brother owns others. I'm not going to get to the family. Don't know mix of any of that.
00:20:09
Speaker 2: I read to the place above a chat tie ones and like I smelt like chat tis all the time. Convenient. You wouldn't have complained about that at all.
00:20:18
Speaker 10: I spilled some of the chicken soup from this new place rice face on my pants, and I think they'll be smelling on chicken cons quite some time.
00:20:26
Speaker 2: So I tell you what.
00:20:27
Speaker 1: So.
00:20:28
Speaker 10: Polisa owns a farm up in Northern Rivers called Boon Luck, and she brings a lot of the produced straight off Northern Rivers uses it a chat rice face, so little sixteen dollar bowls, super healthy the rice. You can get a normal jasmine version, or you can get one which is like enhanced with chicken fat, which is super delicious. Then you got the hein air kind of like chicken rice.
00:20:46
Speaker 2: Over the top.
00:20:46
Speaker 10: You've got a beef brisket version, super fresh, soft herbs, lovely little vegetables, awesome sauces on the side. For a sixteen dollar like healthy bowl at lunch. I haven't seen one that does it with this kind of like level of integrity and deliciousness for quite some time. So also be going in a vivid. They close at six thirty, but gether at like five thirty to still be opened for an easy, you know, dinner beforehand. So that's in the in the gallery, in the galleries and the downstairs card I'm near the men's inky store.
00:21:12
Speaker 1: I'm taking I'm taking Tim up for lunch tomorrow. We're going to have We're going to have Rahmen there tomorrow.
00:21:17
Speaker 2: Oh we are too, Yeah, and then we can head to inc and buy some six hundred dollars pants.
00:21:22
Speaker 10: I popped in there.
00:42:38
Speaker 1: You don't. You're not one of those people that jumps.
00:42:41
Speaker 2: Up on them, because one jumped out onto me under the bathroom sink when I was like eight years old, like actually jumped.
00:42:48
Speaker 5: That's where it comes from.
00:42:49
Speaker 2: They jump, like what's the purpose of them? They're huge, and they jump.
00:42:54
Speaker 1: Because they're like, hey, this is my space. Yeah.
00:42:57
Speaker 2: So I just just specifically hunts me, and in my home do you leave the area? There was one in my bedroom last summer. I walked down I walked downstairs, gave it a good fifteen twenty well back up, gone.
00:43:11
Speaker 5: But you know, but like you leave your windows in your.
00:43:15
Speaker 2: Sky, but it's got screens on it, like a fly stuff like that. Yeah, go, I think that's irrational. Though spiders kind of makes sense, don't they.
00:43:24
Speaker 5: More it's more irrational that you're fine everywhere else in.
00:43:28
Speaker 2: My home, in my space, you just leave in Georgia's hall. What's your irrational fear tenure?
00:43:39
Speaker 6: Driving under a railway bridge, I fear that the train is going to fall onto the car.
00:43:47
Speaker 2: What's probably happened once in the world somewhere. I love it so much.
00:43:51
Speaker 5: I love it, But you've had like is this something that has forever been a fear of yours?
00:43:56
Speaker 6: Forever even as a kid, like my heart stuff gray thing, And I'm like, oh, please let the lights open so I can drive.
00:44:04
Speaker 12: Away in avalon your irrational fear ladders, Yeah, just can't trust them.
00:44:17
Speaker 2: Very true.
00:44:17
Speaker 1: There have been far too many.
00:44:19
Speaker 2: As one of those weird ones that fold up into four and then you can make about twenty five thousand different configurations with it?
00:44:25
Speaker 1: What do you use a ladder?
00:44:27
Speaker 14: Ladder? Is a two step ladder.
00:44:29
Speaker 2: Or step ladders? Emil, really steplad.
00:44:33
Speaker 17: I'm not scared of heights.
00:44:34
Speaker 14: I can do heights, so I just can't do the ladders.
00:44:36
Speaker 5: It's not from a ladder.
00:44:38
Speaker 1: I still, what are you?
00:44:39
Speaker 2: What do you use a ladder for? I have a ladder in the shed, thank you very much.
00:44:43
Speaker 1: What do you have a shed for?
00:44:44
Speaker 2: Because the shed is in the house, outside the house where the mower is everything. Oh my god, with a sniffer, Oh my goodness, there believe me?
00:44:52
Speaker 5: Oh my god.
00:44:52
Speaker 1: Yeah, you leave them, don't you?
00:44:54
Speaker 2: Thought? Abbi, being an Avalon her irrational fear would be closed without horizontal stripes.
00:45:01
Speaker 1: When I moved to avalon I it was within within the year I was wearing the.
00:45:08
Speaker 2: Lisa. What happened in Leapington? Your irrational fear?
00:45:14
Speaker 17: Okay, so this has been going on for a long time. There used to be a TV commercial on as a child with a tongue.
00:45:21
Speaker 1: It was an.
00:45:22
Speaker 17: Alcoholic beverage song and that song I rock myself forward. I can't deal with it. They used to play to the football. They would play it, are.
00:45:33
Speaker 2: You ready Lisa, I've got the.
00:45:34
Speaker 17: Song don't don't, don't, don't don't.
00:45:38
Speaker 2: Then that's the end. Let's do this and jimsy with Ricky. Sorry, hey, Claire, you doing two hundred bucks on the line. Not a great deal of cash, but still it'll go somewhere. It'll go somewhere.
00:46:04
Speaker 4: Yes, it's just better than nothing.
00:46:06
Speaker 1: Good luck, Claire, Thank you.
00:46:08
Speaker 2: Ricky's gonna put her noise canceling headphones on. I got thirty seconds on the clock for you to answer ten trivia questions. The time will start after my first question. Of course, you can pass and we'll come back if we have time. What's on today?
00:46:21
Speaker 15: What's on today?
00:46:22
Speaker 4: I am auditioning for the Tipping Point Channel nine show.
00:46:26
Speaker 2: Are you actually? Oh wow?
00:46:29
Speaker 15: With practice? The practice of questions?
00:46:32
Speaker 2: Is that tod Woodbridge? Please? Oh well, well, good luck with that. Well, this will be a nice staff for your nice practice for you. Okay, your time starts at the end of my first question. Who sings the song levitating.
00:46:45
Speaker 1: Past?
00:46:45
Speaker 2: How many players in a rugby union team?
00:46:49
Speaker 11: Ten?
00:46:50
Speaker 2: How many cents in a dollar? Who is Pepper Pig's brother?
00:46:56
