00:00:12.080 --> 00:00:13.839
What is going on everybody?
00:00:14.000 --> 00:00:24.960
Welcome back to another episode of Heck versus Hell where the truth we tell you know what it is, you know how we do, you know what time it is.
00:00:25.760 --> 00:00:29.280
Another day, another beautiful day to praise the Lord.
00:00:29.600 --> 00:00:38.320
So I hope you are all having a blessed one and chose for it to be a blessed day, right?
00:00:38.560 --> 00:00:42.159
Every day is a choice, and every day how we perceive it is a choice.
00:00:42.399 --> 00:00:45.200
We choose whether we see it as a blessing or a curse.
00:00:45.359 --> 00:00:49.520
And as children of God, we should always choose for it to be a blessing.
00:00:49.679 --> 00:00:53.200
That is our choice and our prerogative for how we want to view it.
00:00:53.280 --> 00:00:54.560
So remember that.
00:00:55.200 --> 00:01:02.960
Now let's get into this episode the absolute truth.
00:01:03.759 --> 00:01:11.920
This one I actually came up with from my own reflection.
00:01:12.079 --> 00:01:13.280
A lot of them do, you know.
00:01:13.359 --> 00:01:25.359
A lot of the ones that I come up with, they come from my own reflections, from seeing it from myself, and and so many of the things that I do see, because this is one thing that I learned.
00:01:25.439 --> 00:01:30.239
Okay, I know I'm jumping right into it, but I I I'm trying to get it off my mind.
00:01:30.400 --> 00:01:41.120
There's I do go and analyze other people, which we know as judgment, right?
00:01:41.359 --> 00:01:56.640
Being able to try to judge their fruits, being able to judge where their heart is positioned, so that I could understand if it is coming from a godly standpoint or not.
00:01:57.680 --> 00:02:07.840
Now it could be from a self-believing standpoint, as like we've mentioned before, there's three thought processes.
00:02:08.080 --> 00:02:19.680
One comes from the devil, one comes from our own mind, and who we see ourselves at, and our belief systems that we have set up, and the other comes from God.
00:02:20.319 --> 00:02:47.680
Now, ours is intertwined with the flesh and the spirit to where we have trauma, we have certain beliefs, we have certain things that can align with the word of God, and that can align with trauma and things we need to heal that do not align with the spirit and align with lies.
00:02:48.639 --> 00:03:03.520
So we stand in the center almost like a Venn diagram, in a way, except the devil and God never cross.
00:03:04.000 --> 00:03:15.759
The only thing that they can mutually agree on is the absolute truth, and even then the devil tries to lie about it.
00:03:16.080 --> 00:03:19.759
So that's kind of where it's kind of going from.
00:03:20.639 --> 00:03:54.560
But two things, and one is the understanding of how no matter what situation anyone has gone through and came through, we as human beings justify ourselves, and this comes from reinforcing our beliefs because it is who we are, therefore, we feel as though we are reinforcing ourselves.
00:03:54.879 --> 00:04:10.879
You see that in any group of people, it doesn't matter if you are from Timbuktu and you got a culture out there, it doesn't matter if you are from a continental culture, right?
00:04:10.960 --> 00:04:17.519
Maybe you're Asian, maybe you're European, maybe you're African, maybe you're American, maybe you're South American.
00:04:18.720 --> 00:04:26.079
Whatever aspect it is, we have a background and a nature of going about it.
00:04:26.240 --> 00:04:50.879
Whether you are in God or a child of the world, we all have implemented into us a self approval of sorts that relies on making sure that what we believe stays true.
00:04:51.120 --> 00:04:53.680
So in a way it keeps us alive.
00:04:53.920 --> 00:05:01.439
Whenever we justify ourselves, it keeps us alive because without our beliefs, we are floating nothings.
00:05:02.800 --> 00:05:07.680
Like our real our realities rely on our beliefs.
00:05:10.639 --> 00:05:14.639
Without it, without the foundation of God, we are not children of God.
00:05:15.759 --> 00:05:24.720
Without the found foundation of what mankind is and human beings are, we do not know who we are.
00:05:25.360 --> 00:05:37.519
And so many people that are lost do not know who they are or whose they are, what they are, and who they come from, the reflection of what they are made in.
00:05:37.759 --> 00:05:45.120
That's why they're children of the world because they do not see the image and the reflection, the image bearers that they are.
00:05:46.240 --> 00:06:17.600
So there is always going to be a point of loss with them, with us, even with us though, we still have to, in a way, justify certain things that we believe, and this is where it can get very interesting, especially because I was on this topic before, and now uh I remembered this parable that was in Luke.
00:06:17.839 --> 00:06:26.240
So it's actually a really good parable, a really beautiful parable that explains it so well and gives you a much deeper understanding about it, right?
00:06:26.319 --> 00:06:35.040
So, if none of what I said before, because it was kind of hard for me to articulate the full thought process of what I have in a faster mannerism.
00:06:36.319 --> 00:06:37.360
Let me read this.
00:06:37.519 --> 00:06:39.519
Okay, so this is from Luke.
00:06:40.879 --> 00:06:46.399
I already forgot the chapter, I didn't write it down, but I have the verses right in front of me uh because I wrote down the verses.
00:06:46.560 --> 00:06:53.040
But this is from Luke, I want to say chapter 14, verses 9 through 14.
00:06:53.360 --> 00:06:55.279
Might be Luke chapter 8.
00:06:56.319 --> 00:07:03.600
Something okay, just it's one of them, but the parable was about uh the parable of a Pharisee and a tax collector.
00:07:03.759 --> 00:07:05.920
That that's what you can look up and you'll find it.
00:07:06.079 --> 00:07:08.480
So this is verse 9 through 14.
00:07:08.720 --> 00:07:17.759
So it says, To some who were confident of their own righteousness and looked down on everybody else, Jesus told this parable.
00:07:18.319 --> 00:07:24.720
Two men went up to the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector.
00:07:24.959 --> 00:07:37.839
The Pharisee stood by himself and prayed, God, I thank you that I am not like other people, robbers, evildoers, adulterers, or even like this tax collector.
00:07:38.480 --> 00:07:42.319
I fast twice a week and give a tenth of all I get.
00:07:42.800 --> 00:07:45.600
But the tax collector stood at a distance.
00:07:45.839 --> 00:07:53.360
He would not even look up to heaven, but beat his breast and said, God, have mercy on me, a sinner.
00:07:54.480 --> 00:08:01.360
I tell you that this man, rather than the other, went home justified before God.
00:08:01.839 --> 00:08:09.279
For all those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted, exalted.
00:08:11.279 --> 00:08:24.639
This is the absolute epitome of what it is to be Christ-like is the humility aspect.
00:08:25.120 --> 00:08:30.639
I don't know if the tax collector was doing something that he wasn't supposed to be doing.
00:08:30.800 --> 00:09:03.200
Obviously, he was, uh, obviously, he saw it and he was aware of it, but becoming aware of where we are faulty, becoming aware of who we are, and it it this is where the difficulty therein lies, because we cannot see ourselves in a mannerism of us being so self-crucifying to where we believe that God is not merciful and we live in our despair, right?
00:09:03.279 --> 00:09:06.159
Where we're constantly saying, Oh, I am nothing but a sinner.
00:09:06.399 --> 00:09:07.679
That's that's all I am.
00:09:07.840 --> 00:09:08.559
That's not the point.
00:09:08.720 --> 00:09:10.240
That's not the point of the scripture.
00:09:10.480 --> 00:09:28.240
The point of the scripture was two contrasting people: one who followed the law and believed himself to be justified because of what he did, although there were many things that he might have not shown: love, mercy, grace.
00:09:28.399 --> 00:09:28.720
Right?
00:09:28.799 --> 00:09:31.360
He definitely was not showing the fruits of the spirit.
00:09:31.600 --> 00:09:45.039
Humility was definitely another thing that he was not showing, and the tax collector came and said, God, I am a sinner.
00:09:45.759 --> 00:09:47.600
Have mercy on me.
00:09:50.559 --> 00:10:08.320
The humility comes from knowing the positioning of the flesh and not justifying ourselves, not looking at ourselves to those that say to some who were confident of their own righteousness and look down at everybody else.
00:10:08.559 --> 00:10:29.840
It it it it comes from that is where arrogance is, is uh understanding arrogance and pride is understanding that you uh take a stance or a way that you see yourself as, but it is not really true.
00:10:32.960 --> 00:11:19.840
Either you amplify it to an extent to where you don't believe it and it does not align with what God said we are, because that is the absolute truth, or you want to be something else, therefore you are lying about it, but that is the facade that you were putting on, and yes, you know, there is that whole fake it till you make it kind of thing, and we do have the malleability of being who we want to be, but there is a pride that is in place from where you are and where you want to be, and there is always going to be in that space of where you are and where you want to be, either a pride or a humility.
00:13:31.799 --> 00:13:49.559
So applying that to us and to our lives, we truly have to check as many aspects and beliefs, no matter how big and small, as we can, and truly test everything.
00:13:49.719 --> 00:13:59.000
I mean, one of the most recent things that I was testing myself and that I was actually just thinking about earlier, whenever I was cooking, whenever I was making food, I'd be making some bomb food, y'all.
00:13:59.079 --> 00:14:01.000
I'm I mean, I be getting down, okay.
00:14:01.159 --> 00:14:03.959
I gotta praise God for giving me that skill set.
00:14:04.039 --> 00:14:14.039
Uh, and I do, I I give him thanks and I pray as I cook the food from time to time, you know, and thanking him for the hands that I have.
00:14:14.679 --> 00:14:21.799
But uh, you know, that call it call it a little prideful, but I call it having God in my in my hands, alright?
00:14:22.199 --> 00:14:26.519
Um but that is you know, that's something that that that's another story for another day.
00:14:26.759 --> 00:14:36.120
But I was thinking about how yeah, y'all hear the beautiful wind, uh the nature calling.
00:14:36.279 --> 00:14:57.000
Uh but I was I was thinking about that earlier, and how easy even the smallest aspects of what we were told, easy, like for example, a lot of people believed, and it might have been true at a certain time, or it might have been misconstrued through certain elements.
00:14:58.199 --> 00:15:01.559
Now, there could be a scientific aspect of it.
00:15:01.639 --> 00:15:20.839
Honestly, I have not looked at it, but I went and I made an intention to check on it and check every little aspect as much as I can from what I believe, and one of those things was being in the rain and getting sick.
00:15:21.079 --> 00:15:39.079
There is a correlation that I grew up on, and a lot of you may relate that my parents would tell me to wear a jacket or a sweater when going outside, and do not stand in the rain without a jacket or a sweater, or you will get sick.
00:15:40.679 --> 00:15:43.159
I don't know where that correlation came from.
00:15:43.319 --> 00:16:05.959
I don't know if it comes from some kind of acid rain or maybe mixing the rain with cold weather, and because you are wet, it therefore lowers your body temperature and you can get a cold, just as if you were going outside without a sweater in winter time.
00:16:07.079 --> 00:16:23.240
I have no idea where it came from, but it is something that I was taught, and I want to know if that is something that is true, because who taught that narrative, right?
00:16:23.479 --> 00:16:55.719
And even now, there's so many people even coming up with different things about how breakfast was a tool that was used in order to pump people with more gluttony, pump people with more food, and cause them to, you know, different aspects of what it was, but just forcing different narratives into the mainstream population so that consumption can be improved, therefore, companies are winning, right?
00:16:55.799 --> 00:16:57.959
And breakfast was one of those things.
00:16:58.199 --> 00:17:03.559
The Kellogg brothers making Kellogg's cornflakes was one of those aspects.
00:17:03.799 --> 00:17:09.799
So, even whenever it comes to that phrase, you know, eat your breakfast, the breakfast is the most important meal of the day.
00:17:09.960 --> 00:17:17.000
That was a lie made up from people that profited off of the lie.
00:17:19.000 --> 00:17:21.640
So that's exactly what I mean.
00:17:21.880 --> 00:17:25.720
How many things do we believe that are not true?
00:17:25.960 --> 00:17:44.599
And I'm getting a little off topic here, I'm gonna be honest, but that's how intentional I have become with checking my own belief systems, with checking what I believe, and fact-checking everything, and cross-referencing into the Bible as much as I can.
00:17:44.920 --> 00:18:42.440
There is many things, and there are certain revelations that I cannot receive, even with uh this, you know, this is more recent, so if you're hearing this way in the future, with Pastor Otha, of how he said certain things about Christ going into hell and being molested on uh in hell, uh bearing the sins on us and taking it to that extreme nature, which is not in the Bible, but that doesn't necessarily mean that it is untrue, although it is dangerous, and it was very interesting that he decided to actually say that because there are certain revelations that I have got that are a gathering of different contextual pieces that is not directly stated in the Bible, but that I know I will not put out there to the public.
00:18:42.599 --> 00:18:53.559
So if you're listening to this right now, you may never hear that revelation, and there may be some of you that will.
00:19:52.200 --> 00:19:56.440
So it feels like a burden that I'm carrying on my own in a way, you know.
00:19:56.519 --> 00:19:58.039
Um it's crazy, it's crazy.
00:19:58.200 --> 00:20:07.000
I've talked I've talked to uh Lex about it, I've talked to uh my wife about it, and it's something that stops there.
00:20:07.400 --> 00:20:36.680
I have not spoken to anybody about that except for them and God, and it is something okay, it is it is really cool, but testing it and cross-referencing it to the word and praying on it is one of the best things that we can do, and the humbling aspect of it comes from testing it because I feel as though it is very, very humbling.
00:20:37.000 --> 00:20:40.600
Like I'm the what what did uh what did Michael Scott say from the office?
00:20:40.759 --> 00:20:42.440
I'm the most no, it wasn't him.
00:20:42.600 --> 00:20:43.560
Who was it?
00:20:43.800 --> 00:20:46.440
It was uh it was it was Trump actually.
00:20:47.000 --> 00:20:48.279
Trump is out.
00:20:48.360 --> 00:20:51.560
I'm actually the most humblest guy, I'm the most humblest guy there.
00:20:51.800 --> 00:20:54.120
You don't even know how humble I am, right?
00:20:54.279 --> 00:21:07.080
Uh no, but I I I feel like that is an act of humility for you to check your belief systems because you are not shutting off your mind to other possibilities.
00:21:07.240 --> 00:21:13.080
Now that does not mean don't be double-minded because there's there's really a huge difference.
00:21:13.560 --> 00:21:21.800
There is testing everything, and then there is doubt, right?
00:21:22.039 --> 00:21:52.120
So there is a certain healthy skepticism that we must have, and there are beliefs that we have in place, and that might not work for everybody, but I feel like everybody should practice it to an extent, and one of the things that I have gotten really upset about, especially in testing my faith and wanting to align it more with God and wanting to align it more so much stronger, is the miracle aspect of it.
00:21:53.080 --> 00:21:59.240
And I was just like, I've been really ticked off recently in the recent weeks.
00:21:59.320 --> 00:23:07.480
So, whenever you see me happy, you know, you'll know I'm always pretty jolly, uh, you know, and I always have joy in God and and and just you know the joy of life, but I'm kind of ticked off right now because I I I do not fully possess the beliefs that I want to have and that I know are capable, and I'm mad about it because I know they are true, yet there's something blocking me from believing it so, and I'm trying to dig within myself and through my memories and through all my beliefs to try to find what it is that I believe that is blocking me from obtaining that, and what I mean is that miracle aspect of believing that we have the authority to perform miracles just as Christ did, of course, through the power of the Holy Spirit, but you gotta remember the disciples they didn't even have the Holy Spirit whenever Christ was walking around with them, whenever Christ had sent them out with the authority.
00:23:07.640 --> 00:23:37.000
That authority comes from us being children of God and disciples of Christ, it is enhanced and enabled through the Holy Spirit, absolutely, absolutely, but there are certain gifts and things that are implemented in us that was just designed is by design, like by the design of mankind that he made us to be so.
00:23:38.600 --> 00:23:45.800
That is why there are certain people that can do certain things through the belief system that they have, right?
00:23:45.880 --> 00:23:54.519
The belief and faith, that is one of those principles that is by design that we do not need the enabling of the Holy Spirit to do so, right?
00:23:54.600 --> 00:24:07.480
We all have a breath of life, we all have the image of God, so we all have certain authority that we have to believe that we have.
00:24:09.080 --> 00:24:15.080
And honestly, I'm gonna have to make a part two of this because this isn't even fully where I wanted to go with it.
00:24:15.640 --> 00:24:27.560
But it is me not believing all the way and taking the actionable steps.
00:24:27.720 --> 00:24:29.000
Because I can I believe it.
00:24:29.160 --> 00:24:31.240
I believe that it is possible.
00:24:32.120 --> 00:24:34.680
And I believe that I can do it.
00:24:36.759 --> 00:24:41.000
But for some reason, I do not believe that I can do it right now.
00:24:41.320 --> 00:24:55.400
And whether that is my guilt, whether that is my self-doubt, whether that is my pride or my ego, I am not certain yet.
00:24:55.720 --> 00:25:06.759
And I pray to take you along this journey, uh, you know, to to be able to find out what exactly it is, and I believe it's a combination of all of them to an extent.
00:25:06.920 --> 00:25:18.039
Um, but there is definitely some belief that I have not fully found yet, that I have not been able to uncover within myself that is blocking me from believing that.
00:25:21.000 --> 00:25:34.840
At this point, I'm just trying to force it is laying my hands on people and having them be healed as though we as we were given the authority to do so, lay my hands on people and have them come back to life as we were told to do so.
00:25:40.200 --> 00:25:58.039
That's right, move the movement of the wind, so beautiful, and that is my current positioning, and that is the part one of this.
00:25:58.200 --> 00:26:36.039
I'm gonna leave it at the part one of this because the second part was gonna be going further into the self-justification aspect, but we do need to analyze the belief systems that we have in place and which ones we need to trade in, and that's also why we are doing so much of the curriculum that we do and so much of the work frames that we do in order to do that because there are big beliefs, big things that we can't believe.
00:26:36.200 --> 00:26:56.680
That's actually why I'm gonna write The Beauty of the Rain, too, because three of those come from such great replacements that cured me from depression is through the words of God and through understanding those aspects, right?
00:26:56.840 --> 00:27:00.120
And Romans 8 28 is definitely one of them.
00:27:00.360 --> 00:27:16.759
Uh, the perfect timing of God is definitely one of them, and a combination of those and his mercy, his mercy and grace, and understanding how truly everything does happen for the best of us, you know.
00:27:17.080 --> 00:27:18.759
Genesis 50-20.
00:27:19.800 --> 00:27:38.519
It's a combination of these, so combining them in the same way we form our belief systems is what we must do whenever it comes to our personal beliefs so that we can amplify the mission and purpose that we were meant to do.
00:27:38.840 --> 00:27:56.440
And remember, we're always gonna be on this walk, there's always gonna be steps that we take, and there's always gonna be something we have to improve because we are meant for greatness and things greater and the greater potential than maybe we can ever become.
00:28:44.759 --> 00:29:06.279
Right now, and we are believing and seeing aspects that are man-made that blow my mind, especially with now Chat GPT 6 coming out and what it's capable of doing with different AIs and how advanced they are becoming.
00:29:08.200 --> 00:29:24.600
They are never going to there is not, and it is no possible way that man-made creations and any creation for that matter that was not from God directly will ever outdo God's.
00:29:26.680 --> 00:29:29.400
Let's take the challenge, let's do the challenge together.
00:29:29.560 --> 00:29:30.200
I love you all.
00:29:30.279 --> 00:29:31.240
I hope you have a blessed one.
00:29:31.320 --> 00:29:35.320
I'm gonna come up with part two next week, Lord willing, if we make it that far.
00:29:35.480 --> 00:29:38.120
But let's live in the present because today is a gift.
00:29:38.279 --> 00:29:42.519
I love you all, have a blessed one, and we will catch you on the flip side.
