ABOUT THIS EPISODE
🌶️📚 Bennett has been in love with Bower since he was SIXTEEN... and now she lives in his apartment building. What could possibly go wrong? 👀😂
This week, Mandy and Deb are diving into Just for the Plot by Meghan Quinn, and this one gave us EVERYTHING—best friend's brother, reverse age gap, years of pining, sports romance, hilarious group chats, a book club, a mobile bookstore dream, and enough spice to keep those bookmarks BUSY. 🌶️🌶️🌶️
We're talking about Bennett's absolutely terrible plan to make Bower fall for him by setting her up with another man, the return of the Gladdy Daddies, our new obsession with Nolan, the iconic Kim Halpert Book Club, Bower's journey to finally chase her dream with the Whimsy Wagon, and why Adelaide might secretly be one of the best characters in the entire book.
And can we PLEASE celebrate the fact that Meghan Quinn gave us relationship conflict that was actually resolved through COMMUNICATION instead of throwing in an unnecessary third-act breakup?! 🙌😂
Of course, we're also breaking down Bennett & Bower's chemistry, our favorite spicy moments, and—because we know why some of you are here—we've got the spicy chapter numbers ready. 👀🌶️
Plus, we're comparing Just for the Plot vs. Just for the Cameras and deciding which one wins!
