ABOUT THIS EPISODE
For the first episode of my father-and-son series, I sit down with my youngest son, Jamil — 17, outspoken, smart, hilarious, and just enough of a troublemaker to keep life interesting. Because me and him are close, nothing is off limits. We’re talking love lives, relationships, life lessons, mistakes, future goals, past experiences, and the real stuff most fathers and sons don’t always say out loud. The rule is simple: ask anything, answer honestly — even if we don’t like the answer. Expect laughs, uncomfortable truths, wisdom, jokes, and real man-to-man conversations about growing up, dating, family, and figuring life out together. No filters, no pretending — just transparency, respect, and real talk between a dad and his son.
