In today’s episode, Matthew has a conversation with Darin Zimmerman and Laura Zimmerman.  They are a married couple that have opened a functional medicine practice here in Maryland.  Darin is an anesthesiologist and intensivist and Laura is an advanced practice nurse and nurse anesthetist.  We discuss many topics in this episode like what is functional medicine, how they promote health and wellness in their patients, and how their practice is different than a traditional primary care setting.
