ABOUT THIS EPISODE
Greg and Tom Littleton welcome Stephanie Smith of the Alabama Policy Institute to Priority Talk Radio for an in-depth discussion of pressing issues affecting Alabama families.
Smith examines the challenges of tracking abortion-pill use in Alabama, the rise of telehealth and mail-order access, and potential state and federal policy responses. The conversation also explores concerns about women obtaining abortion drugs without adequate medical guidance or consent, and why the pro-life movement must remain engaged following the overturning of Roe v. Wade.
Next, Smith explains the new federal Education Freedom Tax Credit and how it could complement Alabama’s CHOOSE Act, potentially expanding educational options for families through private schools, homeschooling, and other educational opportunities.
Finally, Smith previews Alabama Policy Institute’s Putting Children First in the Digital Age event in Vestavia Hills, where parents, grandparents, pastors, educators, and policymakers can learn about online safety, artificial intelligence, digital education, and policies to protect children.
