Statehouse Update with Greg Tuesday March 10

Greg provides an update from the Alabama Statehouse, focusing on Tuesday’s debate on the House floor that ultimately led to the passage of legislation sponsored by Republican Representative Reed Ingram. The bill would require Alabama public schools to begin each day with the Pledge of Allegiance and a moment of prayer.

During the program, Greg walks listeners through the key points raised during the debate, the arguments made by supporters and critics, and what the legislation is intended to accomplish for students and schools across the state. He also explains what the bill’s passage in the House means for the next step in the legislative process and how it fits into the broader conversation about faith, patriotism, and education in Alabama.
