Thirty-something years later, that same girl is a therapist, a mom of three, and, by her own description, “a very quiet and reserved person,” but now she's knocking on doors in Ward 2 in El Dorado, AR, running against an eighteen-year incumbent. Amy Smith is an underdog, and she knows it. She also isn’t a quitter.
