ABOUT THIS EPISODE
What’s it like raising a Premier League footballer, and how do you stay grounded when your son’s playing in front of 60,000 fans?
In this episode of Premier Torque, the lads sit down with the brilliantly outspoken and down-to-earth Nick Ramsdale, father of England and Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale.
Nick shares stories from his own days as a professional athlete and hurdler, how sport shaped his family’s work ethic and what it took to help Aaron chase his dream.
From freezing nights at Bolton’s youth academy to standing in the stands during England’s national anthem, Nick reflects on the pride, pressure and perspective that come with being a football parent.
The group also dive into their shared love of cars, swapping stories about first motors, dream drive and how footballers choose their wheels today.
With a trademark mix of humour, honesty and heart, this one’s full of laughs and life lessons in equal measure.
