ABOUT THIS EPISODE
Our guest today is Ajon Singh, the screenwriter behind Primetime, the new A24 film directed by Lance Oppenheim which looks at To Catch a Predator in its most successful period. Primetime is Ajon’s first scripted feature and wrote it for free after producers Will Iannaccone and AJ Bourscheid optioned the article on a hunch and brought Ajon on to expand the concept. In our chat, Ajon talks about being stuck in the industry because his work was too “left of centre” for anyone to know what to do with it, why he admires Skyler Gisondo so much and so much more. A little heads-up that there are light spoilers ahead.
