ABOUT THIS EPISODE
Proverbs 18:22 (NLT) – “The man who finds a wife finds a treasure, and he receives favor from the Lord.”
In this episode of Daily Devotions, Pastor David Sumrall focuses on the word “treasure” in Proverbs 18:22. He highlights that while finding a wife brings favor from the Lord, husbands must recognize and treat their wives as the precious treasure God has placed in their lives.
Pastor Sumrall compares a wife to a solid gold watch, something you wouldn't throw around casually or wear while getting greasy working on cars, but would handle with extreme care and value. Reminding men that a wife is a far greater treasure than any gold watch, he encourages husbands to take care of their wives, handle them carefully, and treat them with great value every day.
