ABOUT THIS EPISODE
Could a curse actually kill someone, or can fear alone become deadly?
This week on Para(normal), Nicolina and Marie dive into one of the internet’s most chilling unexplained deaths: the case of Christopher Case. After rejecting the advances of a mysterious woman who claimed to be a witch, Christopher became convinced he had been cursed to die within seven days. He filled his apartment with candles, crosses, and holy water, and exactly one week later, he was found dead. Was it an unexplained paranormal event, a psychological phenomenon known as “voodoo death,” or simply an extraordinary coincidence?
Then, the conversation shifts to one of the most devastating true crime cases in modern history: Andrea Yates. Rather than focusing solely on the murders, Nicolina explores the disturbing influence of traveling preacher Michael Woroniecki, whose apocalyptic teachings and extreme religious beliefs have been cited by former followers and investigators as a significant influence on the Yates family’s worldview. Could a hidden cult have helped shape one of America’s most infamous tragedies?
