ABOUT THIS EPISODE
A massive weekend of Scottish football gets the full Off The Underside treatment, and this week we’re joined by Brooklyn from the All Talk Scottish Football Podcast!
We discuss Rangers booking their place in the cup final with a late winner against Aberdeen, the talking points surrounding VAR and the officiating, and Celtic’s disappointing 2-0 defeat to Falkirk. What has gone wrong at Celtic, where is the structure and urgency, and how much pressure is now building?
There’s also reaction to Hibernian’s Edinburgh derby victory over Hearts, Motherwell’s win over St Mirren, and the draw between Kilmarnock and St Johnstone. We look at the managerial situation across Scottish football, including the future of Steven Robinson, and debate whether clubs should be looking for the best possible candidates rather than relying on footballing connections and nostalgia.
We finish with our predictions for the upcoming fixtures before rounding things off with a look back at some of football’s biggest historical regrets.
