ABOUT THIS EPISODE
In the third episode of Off Canvas - 'Why we're calling them "male artists" form now on' - we discuss the term ‘woman artist’; what it means, why we use it and what problems might surround this terminology. We’ll also be talking about how the idea of the ‘woman artist’ manifests across the art world, from the auction house to the museum gift shop.
A big thank you to our guest, Solène, for joining us in this episode and to the Capture Collective team, in particular - Harrie Woodhams, Zoe Berkeley, and Alex Stephenson - for recording and producing today’s podcast, and an extra thank you to Harrie, for also making our wonderful cover artwork.
A special thank you also goes to In The Bottling Room, for creating a jingle for Off Canvas.
We’ll be back again next month with another episode, so keep an eye on our Capture Collective social media for updates.
