But Carrie has already been retold in the 21st century-in a 2002 made-for-television movie. Starring Angela Bettis (May), written by Bryan Fuller (Dead Like Me, Pushing Daisies, and TV’s Hannibal), and directed by David Carsons (Star Trek: Generations) the film has strong genre talent, but has been mostly forgotten.
