ABOUT THIS EPISODE
Welcome to the Nothing is KIMpossible podcast! In this inspiring episode titled Transformative Faith and Irish Adventures: Experiences of God's Love and Identity, Kimberly Lee is joined by her dear friend and first student-mentor, Savannah "Sav" Ortiz, to explore the profound concept of walking in the identity of being sons and daughters of God and the freedom this identity brings.
Savanna recounts her transformative time in Ireland as a missionary, where she offers heartfelt stories about the generosity, hospitality, and sense of community she experienced, contrasting it with her experiences of social disconnection in larger cities. They also compare Southern hospitality in the US to Irish hospitality, painting a vivid cultural picture.
Savanna's journey through ministry school, her battle with the orphan mindset, and her eventual return to home in Sacramento, CA, are powerful testimonies of personal and spiritual growth. The episode underscores the importance of knowing one's identity in God beyond tasks and prophetic words. In this conversation, Jesus and the goodness of God overflows from Sav's intimate relationship with Him. Take a listen and understand that Joy in the Lord is our strength.
