ABOUT THIS EPISODE
When the Israelites stood trapped between Pharaoh's army and the Red Sea, they had no way out on their own. In this message, Pastor Kirt Anderson walks through Exodus 14 to show how God led His people to a place that looked impossible, then fought for them there. Along the way, he addresses why God allowed His people to be hemmed in rather than choosing an easier path, and why the freedom God offers, then and now, is never something we can manufacture ourselves.
Pastor Kirt also connects this ancient story to the truth Paul lays out in Romans, that every person serves somebody, either sin or righteousness. He shares a personal story from his own life about a painful season of loss that became an unexpected wilderness, one that eventually led to the founding of Naples Community Church. Watch to hear how this same God who divided the sea is still leading His people toward a land of promise today.
