ABOUT THIS EPISODE
Episode 321
The biggest weekend in AAA Lucha Libre is here, and the M3P Podcast is stepping back onto the wrestling porch for AAA TripleManía 34!
This year's TripleManía is unlike anything we've seen before, with AAA and WWE talent sharing the biggest stage across two nights, bringing together Lucha Libre, WWE storylines, championship matches, international stars, and plenty of opportunities for absolute wrestling chaos.
🔥 Night 1 takes over Las Vegas on September 11, while Night 2 heads to Mexico City on September 13, giving fans two nights of AAA action and some major matches to predict.
And we're making our picks!
Rey Mysterio returns to AAA action to face Omos, with a massive stipulation attached. If Omos wins, his AAA suspension is lifted. If Rey wins, Omos is banned from AAA.
What happens when one of the biggest legends in Lucha Libre meets one of WWE's most physically imposing stars?
And with Dominik Mysterio involved in the larger AAA/WWE story, there's plenty of room for things to get messy.
Dominik Mysterio vs. El Grande Americano
This one has championship implications, family drama, WWE crossover, and the always unpredictable world of AAA.
Can El Grande Americano take the AAA Mega Championship, or does Dominik continue his reign?
Flammer vs. La Catalina
The AAA Reina de Reinas Championship is on the line as Flammer defends against La Catalina on Night 2.
We'll break down the matchup and make our prediction for who walks out with the championship.
Rey Fénix vs. Mini Vikingo vs. Jack Cartwheel vs. Nathan Frazer
Four incredible athletes, one championship, and the kind of match where AAA's high-flying Lucha Libre style can completely steal the show.
Who are we picking to become the Cruiserweight Champion?
Psycho Circus vs. Los Perros del Mal
The AAA World Trios Championship is up for grabs as Psycho Circus defend against Los Perros del Mal.
Expect chaos, masks, dives, and everything that makes Lucha Libre feel different from traditional American wrestling.
We'll also get into:
- La Parka vs. Mr. Iguana vs. Laredo Kid
- Fraxiom vs. LWO vs. Los Americanos vs. Tokyo Bad Boys
- Roxanne Perez vs. Natalya vs. Faby Apache vs. La Hiedra
- War Raiders and the AAA World Tag Team Championship open challenge
- Psycho Clown vs. El Carnicero
- The Copa Bardahl
- Potential surprises and unexpected appearances
- WWE and AAA crossover possibilities
- Who could leave TripleManía 34 with gold
- Which matches could steal the entire weekend
The Roxanne Perez, Natalya, Faby Apache and La Hiedra match is particularly interesting because the winner earns a future shot at the Reina de Reinas Championship at Worlds Collide in Chicago.
And because this is TripleManía... never count out the possibility of something completely unexpected happening.
