ABOUT THIS EPISODE
Digital overwhelm isn't simply about having too much to do or too many apps to manage. In this thoughtful episode of the Money Lighthouse Podcast for Spiritual Entrepreneurs, Michel explores a deeper truth: overwhelm often happens when our creative energy has nowhere to land. Rather than chasing every platform, trend, and strategy, listeners are invited to see their digital world through a new lens—one of intentional stewardship, energetic boundaries, and conscious focus.
Through practical wisdom and compassionate guidance, this episode offers five soul-aligned ways to reduce digital overwhelm without sacrificing business growth. Listeners will discover how to conduct an energy audit instead of a productivity audit, create intentional digital practices, simplify their online presence, protect their most creative hours, and reconnect with their bodies as their greatest source of clarity and decision-making.
This conversation is a gentle reminder that success doesn't come from trying to keep up with the internet. It comes from protecting what is most valuable—your energy, your presence, and your purpose. When spiritual entrepreneurs learn to contain and direct their energy with intention, they create businesses that are not only more sustainable, but also more joyful, aligned, and impactful.
Action Steps After Listening~ Complete a Digital Energy Audit.
For the next several days, notice how you feel after spending time on different digital platforms, email, or online communities. Pay attention to which spaces energize you and which ones leave you feeling depleted.
~ Set a Daily Digital Intention.
Before opening your computer or picking up your phone, pause for thirty seconds and ask yourself, "What am I here to accomplish today?" Give your energy a clear direction before entering the online world.
~ Simplify Your Digital Presence.
Identify the platforms, projects, or online spaces that no longer align with your business or that you're unable to tend consistently. Consider releasing, pausing, or simplifying them so your energy can fully support what matters most.
~ Create One Healthy Digital Boundary.
Protect your most creative hours by delaying email or social media until after you've completed your highest-value work. End each workday with a simple digital closing ritual that signals completion and allows your nervous system to rest.
