Introducing: Lucha Libre: Behind the Mask (English)

Discover the world behind Mexico's Lucha Libre through the larger than life warriors that made la Lucha a global phenomenon. Over the course of 12 episodes, WWE's Santos Escobar peels off Lucha Libre's most iconic masks to give listeners a behind the scenes look at the people who have dedicated their lives to the ring.

Each episode spotlights one famous luchador, the likes of which include El Santo, Blue Demon, Sangre Chicana, La Parka, Los Gringos Locos and Rey Misterio Jr., and many more. Through their incredible stories, listeners will discover the trailblazing luchadores who changed the face of Lucha Libre – both inside and outside the ring. From the fighters who championed the struggle of historically vulnerable groups such as women and the LGBT+ community to the enmascarados (masked men) who have taken their fame outside the arena to help those most in need.

The Story of Lucha Libre is an engrossing series that will delight and surprise both diehard Lucha fans and newcomers alike.
