CAN WASHINGTON PULL OFF THE UPSET? Commanders vs. 49ers Week 6 Preview

Washington enters Week 6 at 1-3-1, coming off a DISASTROUS tie against the New York Giants.

And now the Commanders face one of their toughest challenges of the season.

If they have any shot on Monday, they MUST win these key battles:

OFFENSE

1️⃣ BRANDON COLEMAN vs. NICK BOSA

Coleman struggled against the Giants in Week 5, and if Bosa returns, Washington's left tackle could face another HUGE challenge.

2️⃣ JAYDEN DANIELS vs. FRED WARNER

This is a MENTAL battle.

Can Daniels outsmart one of the NFL's best linebackers and make the right decisions against San Francisco's defense?

3️⃣ DAVID BLOUGH vs. RAHEEM MORRIS

Washington's first-time offensive coordinator faces an experienced defensive mind.

Can Blough put together the right game plan?

DEFENSE

4️⃣ SONNY STYLES vs. CHRISTIAN MCCAFFREY

Styles has been one of Washington's bright spots, but McCaffrey presents a completely different challenge.

5️⃣ RASUL DOUGLAS vs. MIKE EVANS

Washington's secondary has struggled, and Douglas faces a physical matchup against one of the NFL's most dangerous receivers.

6️⃣ NICK CROSS vs. GEORGE KITTLE

If Cross is available, his matchup with Kittle could be CRITICAL for Washington's defense.

Can Washington win enough of these matchups to pull off a MASSIVE Monday Night Football upset?
