ABOUT THIS EPISODE
Oklahoma City Thunder surge to 4-0 as Ajay Mitchell delivers a breakout 30-point night against the Phoenix Suns. With key starters sidelined for the season, can Mitchell’s offensive aggression and playmaking become the new normal for OKC’s reshaped attack?
Rylan Stiles and Derek Parker analyze the Thunder's resilience after devastating injuries, spotlighting Mitchell’s star-level performance and the evolving chemistry with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. The conversation explores adjustments to the lineup, Isaiah Hartenstein’s double-double grind, and the promise shown by Jared McCain and Aday Mara. Defensive questions loom as the Thunder experiment with zone coverage and lean on rim protection from Chet Holmgren, but the path forward may hinge on young creators like Bennett Stirtz stepping up. Will Oklahoma City’s bold new core sustain their momentum as challenges mount?
