ABOUT THIS EPISODE
Notre Dame’s offense finds its heartbeat in Ashton Craig, the fifth-year center whose resilience defines the Fighting Irish’s front line. After overcoming two major injuries—including an ACL tear in 2024—and redshirting in 2022, Craig has reclaimed his spot and brought stability back to the offensive line. With key performances such as leading a 281-yard rushing attack against Stanford and earning a spot on the Remington Trophy watch list, his impact extends far beyond the stat sheet.
What sets Craig apart is not only his accolades, but the leadership and grit that he brings each snap. Can he finally put together a full season at center after years of setbacks? As Notre Dame counts on him to anchor their run game and protect the quarterback, Craig’s story becomes one of the most compelling storylines in college football’s 2025 campaign.
