ABOUT THIS EPISODE
Baylor Bears smother Colorado Buffaloes with relentless defense—putting Deion Sanders and his chaotic squad under the microscope. Can DJ Lagway live up to his hype, or are the Bears’ offensive struggles a bigger concern than the scoreboard suggests?
The conversation focused on Baylor’s 23-13 victory, emphasizing the defense’s dominance, key stops, and standout stats like 13 tackles for loss and 5 sacks. One concept discussed was the underwhelming performance of DJ Lagway against Colorado’s suspect secondary, raising questions about Baylor’s offensive identity and future quarterback choices. The discussion explored Colorado’s undisciplined execution, the impact of penalties for both teams, and whether Dave Aranda’s status as head coach is truly secure. Several points were raised, including the influence of Joe Klanderman’s aggressive defensive schemes and Baylor’s prospects as Big 12 play intensifies.
