SAME OLD, SAME OLD? Los Angeles Angels' Offense SQUANDERS Grayson Rodriguez's BEST Start In Years

The Los Angeles Angels shake up their roster after the trade deadline, but squander Grayson Rodriguez’s standout start against the Baltimore Orioles and Moises Ballesteros’ promising Angels debut. Jorge Soler’s surprising DFA after failing to draw trade interest raises questions about Kurt Suzuki’s lineup decisions, while emerging talents like Wade Meckler and Denzer Guzmán get valuable reps as lineup fixtures. Jon Frisch of the Super Halo Bros. breaks down the Angels’ 3-1 loss, missed opportunities with runners in scoring position, and the decision to prioritize young players over veterans. They examine Adam Frazier and Ben Joyce’s returns from injury, Kyren Paris’ push from AAA, and analyze Rodriguez’s pitching evolution with advanced metrics. Can these new-look Angels build momentum as they finish the season?
