ABOUT THIS EPISODE
Rich Braconi spent years working narcotics cases as a detective, chasing bad guys, climbing toward a sergeant promotion, building a life by the book. Then his marriage fell apart, his finances collapsed, and his family quietly decided he'd had a breakdown. What happened next is the subject of this episode: how rock bottom became the doorway to a spiritual communication Rich didn't believe was possible, one that eventually turned him into a trance medium, medical intuitive, and spiritual teacher.

In this episode:
- Rich describes hitting "the lowest point" of his life — disconnected from his family, separated from his wife, living month-to-month — and how that's where he first learned to "surrender soul control and soul ownership" over his life.
- He shares how his own family reacted when he started talking about his abilities: they told others "he had a nervous breakdown" and "thinks he talks to God."
- Rich walks through how his abilities expanded in stages — from channeled information, to sensing medical imbalances, to full mediumship, to seeing future events and past lives.
- He tells the story of reconciling with his ex-wife Michelle after roughly ten years apart, and how changing himself first — rather than trying to change her — is what rebuilt the relationship.
- Rich recounts a mediumship gallery story where three audience members, seated near each other by "synchronicity," each turned out to be connected to a father named David or Dave who died of a heart attack.
- He describes the moment he chose to leave a promising law enforcement career — passing on a sergeant promotion — to follow his spiritual path.
- Rich talks about his move from New Jersey to Kentucky, stepping back from large public mediumship events to focus on teaching, mentoring, and online events.
