ABOUT THIS EPISODE
I owe you an explanation for where I've been. And honestly, I think my explanation might be exactly what you needed to hear today.
Over a year ago, my mom was misdiagnosed at a hospital. She spent several weeks hospitalized. When she came home, she couldn't walk. She still hasn't taken a step. And in the middle of that season, I had to figure out something nobody prepares you for: how do you keep showing up for the women God called you to serve when your family needs everything you have?
The honest answer is, for a while, I couldn't do either one well.
In this episode I'm pulling back the curtain on what that season taught me, why I made the pivot from one on one coaching to digital products, and how everything I learned about protecting my capacity as a caregiver maps directly onto the client boundaries every coach needs to build a sustainable business.
This is not a polished comeback episode. It is an honest one. And if you are somewhere in the middle of a hard season right now, trying to figure out how to keep building without running yourself into the ground, this conversation is for you.
In this episode you'll hear:
Why I went silent for four months and what finally brought me back. What happened when I sat down to record one day and nothing came out, not one word. The pivot I made to digital products and why it terrified me at first. Three boundaries I learned from caregiving that every coach needs right now. Why protecting your capacity is not selfish. It is the ministry. What God showed me about building a business that works even when your life gets complicated.
