Receiving Without Guilt

What happens when you have spent years taking care of everything yourself, and then someone comes into your life and says, “I’ve got you”?

In this episode of the Jo Willow Rose Podcast, I talk about learning how to receive support after years of being highly independent. I share my experience as a single mother, what I am learning in my relationship with Michael, and why accepting help can feel surprisingly vulnerable when you are used to being the strong one.

We also talk about trust, safe support, and how past disappointments can shape the way we respond when someone genuinely wants to be there for us.

This episode includes three simple exercises, a weekly affirmation, a short meditation, and a closing blessing.

If you are usually the person everyone depends on, ask yourself this:

Are you allowing the people who love you to support you too? ⭐️
