I was so excited to have Nicole on the show to talk about the process of becoming a writer on Late Night TV, what's going on with the current writers strike, smuggling Fruit Roll Ups into Israel, and a low speed scooter chase from the cops.
Nicole Conlan is a Peabody- and WGA Award-winning writer who has written for The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, for which she was also nominated for 3 Emmys. Nicole currently writes for the YouTube series Climate Town and Not Just Bikes. She's been staffed at websites like Sports Illustrated, Jalopnik/Gawker, and SB Nation, and has performed on multiple UCB teams and at festivals including Laugh Your Asheville off, SF Sketchfest, Beast Village, and The FEST. In a previous life, Nicole also worked a bunch of weird day jobs, including Personal Trainer, Urban Planner, Miniature Train Driver and Giraffe Supervisor.
