ABOUT THIS EPISODE
We begin with the baseball fan that has become the brunt of other fans anger. He reached over and caught what could have been a game-tying home run for the Yankees, who ended up losing the game and getting knocked out of the playoffs. Overnight he has become the most hated man in New York. Justin Finch has more — and wait till you hear what the fan does for a living. Next, the woman known as Jane Doe, who has filed a civil lawsuit against Cornell and seven frat boys she says gang-raped her, is being targeted. Her lawyer says she has been getting death threats via texts and phone calls and has even been swatted. Ann Mercogliano has the details. Then, we should all hope our dogs are this smart! When a German Shepherd got lost, he didn’t just sit and whimper. As Steven Fabian reports, he marched his four legs right to the local police station. Finally, it’s a danger in your kitchen you may not be aware of — windows on oven doors exploding, sending shattered glass flying. Alison Hall has what you need to know.
