How Did Israel Begin?

Dear Friends,

I recently watched a powerful podcast* that focused on Hamas’s attack on Israel, which occurred on October 7, 2023. And the Lord used the message to prompt me toward today’s topic.

How did Israel begin?

Many of you likely know, but it’s always beneficial to review the facts. Because when we return to the beginning, sometimes new details emerge. If anything, our knowledge can be strengthened by Scripture’s account of Israel’s formation.

Please join me for this episode.

Rather than considering Old Testament passages, our three main portions are found in the New Testament. We’ll reflect on Genesis 22, but Romans and Hebrews supply our primary texts.

In Christ’s Love,

Emily
