ABOUT THIS EPISODE
Hello friends! Los Angeles based singer-songwriter Chris Pierce is my guest for episode 1602! His latest album, Songs For The Heavy Hearted is out now on all streamers, CD, and vinyl. If you're at Americana Fest this week, you can catch Chris at Embassy Suites by Hilton Nashville Downtown, after that, he'll be on tour on the east coast and southeast. Go to chrispierce.com for tour dates, music, and more. We have a great conversation about making Songs For The Heavy Hearted with long-time collaborators David Resnik and Niko Bolas (Neil Young, The Mavericks), how the album captures moments in the lives of everyday people as they struggle with crisis while still remaining hopeful, growing up in L.A., making music for social change, working with The Whitmore Sisters, and much more. I had a great time getting to know Chris. I'm sure you will too. Let's get down!
