Welcome to the season 2 finale of Hoops & Healing! To end season 2, we have an  episode that is dedicated entirely to healing. Therefore, my guest for this episode is the amazing, Dr. Nekeshia Hammond, a licensed psychologist and motivational speaker known for her work in mental health, leadership development and burnout prevention. Dr. Hammond's work is dedicated to helping others transform their lives by first training their minds to believe they deserve the life they want. We dive into topics such as negative self-talk, giving yourself permission to heal, building up your mental armor & resilience and abundance vs scarcity mindsets. We end the episode with actionable takeaways you can start doing today to help with your mental health like a mental health detox and giving back to others.
