Why the Internet Thinks Garth Brooks Is a Serial Killer (The Tour Map Theory)

Let's get into Garth Brooks! One of the most beloved names in country music has somehow become the internet's favorite murder suspect, and the theory is as wild as it sounds. It started as a joke, comedian Tom Segura riffing that Garth had a "serial killer smile," and snowballed into a full crowdsourced rabbit hole where TikTok sleuths map his tour stops against missing-persons reports and swear the timing lines up. Add in a resurfaced old interview clip and his eerie Chris Gaines alter ego, and the meme took on a life of its own. To be clear, there's no evidence and no case, but this breaks down how a beloved icon became a viral true-crime punchline.
