In this episode, Philipp Kobald interviews Guy Morris, award-winning thriller author and former Fortune 500 strategist, discussing his journey from childhood trauma and homelessness at 13 to Harvard and decoding Biblical Prophecy through mathematics.
Main Hook: What If Prophecy Isn't Prediction, but a Warning We Keep Ignoring?
Guy Morris, a homeless teenager who developed economic models outperforming the Federal Reserve, spent decades on "prophecy analytics," validating prophetic outcomes against real-world events. He found a cumulative probability of over three trillion to one that the correlations he identified are coincidental.
- Guy's refusal to let a violent childhood define his future.
- National Geographic article on dying fish stocks as a key to prophetic interpretation.
- Difference between treating prophecy as fortune-telling vs. understanding the present.
- AI spy program escaping a government lab and FBI agents visiting Guy.
- Mapping lethal autonomous weapons, cryptocurrency, and trust collapse onto ancient texts.
- Spiritual case for AI being neutral; character of wielders determines outcomes.
- Near-death experiences and quantum physics on consciousness.
- Prophecy is meaningful when validated against real-world outcomes.
- Spirituality is a personal quantum connection; no institution can manufacture it.
- Greatest threat isn't technology; it's the character of controllers.
- Healing from trauma through connection, communication, and sharing stories.
- Pursuit of immortality by those fearing death may destabilize the planet.
- "To me, it was the hand of God giving me a chance to change my stars. I have worked tirelessly to try and be worthy of that opportunity." — Guy Morris
- "I hope I will never find enlightenment, because I want to keep searching for it." — Philipp Kobald
Guy Morris grew up on the streets, ran away at 13, earned a Harvard scholarship, and had a four-decade career with IBM, Oracle, and Microsoft. After retiring, he focused on AI risks in thriller novels like Swarm. His nonfiction book Prophecy Analytics outlines his mathematical framework for interpreting scripture without dogma.
