00:00:19.839 --> 00:00:27.839
We explore how what you eat, how you live, and what you believe all shape your energy, health, and overall sense of well-being.
00:00:28.000 --> 00:00:32.719
You have a physical body, a mental body, an emotional body, and a spiritual body.
00:00:32.880 --> 00:00:38.000
And all need to be recognized and nourished so you can feel balanced and truly thrive.
00:00:38.159 --> 00:00:40.880
Only you know what your body truly needs.
00:00:41.039 --> 00:00:50.479
Let this be your reminder that you already have the wisdom to tune in to your food, your self-care, and your spiritual practices and choose what supports you best.
00:00:50.640 --> 00:01:07.280
Through personal insights and conversations with experts across food, wellness, and spirituality, we'll explore how to nourish the physical, emotional, spiritual, and energetic layers of who you are so you can feel your best and live with clarity, vitality, and purpose.
00:01:07.519 --> 00:01:08.879
Let's get started.
00:01:10.079 --> 00:01:13.760
Hi friends, and welcome back to the High Vibration Living Podcast.
00:01:14.000 --> 00:01:18.719
I'm so happy to connect with you all today and share some updates.
00:01:18.879 --> 00:01:22.799
And I wanted to go through and talk about some fall favorites.
00:01:23.040 --> 00:01:33.760
So what I've been buying, what I've been eating, what I've been drinking, what I've been researching, share all those insights with you so you can just have some more tools for your tool belt.
00:01:33.920 --> 00:01:42.400
And then everything that we talk about today, if I currently have it at home, I'm gonna try to hold it up and show you on the YouTube video.
00:01:42.719 --> 00:01:46.000
And then I finally created a ShopMai.
00:01:46.079 --> 00:01:50.560
So you can find the link in my link tree in my Instagram and TikTok bio.
00:01:50.879 --> 00:01:57.519
And everything will be in a folder on my ShopMai that is titled Podcast.
00:01:57.680 --> 00:02:02.560
So any links, anything that we mentioned, you'll always be able to go there to find it.
00:02:02.799 --> 00:02:05.760
Just first off, I'm so excited for this fall season.
00:02:06.000 --> 00:02:08.080
I love the energy right now.
00:02:08.560 --> 00:02:11.919
I feel so much better than I did at the beginning of the summer.
00:02:12.080 --> 00:02:13.759
My nervous system was so shot.
00:02:13.919 --> 00:02:15.120
I was so burnt out.
00:02:15.199 --> 00:02:16.400
I was so tired.
00:02:16.560 --> 00:02:18.319
I knew I needed a vacation.
00:02:18.400 --> 00:02:26.719
But if you've ever been in a place where you're so exhausted that you can't even figure out what to do and where to go on vacation.
00:02:27.120 --> 00:02:33.680
And anything beyond like an hour drive, the thought of getting on a plane is just too much.
00:02:33.840 --> 00:02:38.319
That's how burnt out and exhausted I was at the beginning of the summer.
00:02:38.479 --> 00:02:40.159
So I just decided to do less.
00:02:40.319 --> 00:02:47.599
I just decided to slow down and just focus on being home and deep cleaning and clearing clutter.
00:02:47.919 --> 00:02:49.680
And I'm finally feeling better.
00:02:49.840 --> 00:02:51.680
I still have a lot more to clear.
00:02:51.919 --> 00:02:54.719
So I'm selling a lot of clothes on Poshmark.
00:02:54.879 --> 00:02:58.319
I'm going through lots of old recipes and cookbooks.
00:02:58.400 --> 00:03:07.039
Um, I'm going through every cabinet and trying to use every food product and spice and item in the pantry that I can to create space.
00:03:07.280 --> 00:03:13.599
And when you create space in your physical environment, you create space mentally and internally.
00:03:13.680 --> 00:03:16.560
And it is really helping me feel better.
00:03:16.800 --> 00:03:25.039
So with that in mind, you know, I'm also obviously a health supportive chef, and I really do like to make my meals at home.
00:03:25.360 --> 00:03:42.159
But I've spent a lot of time this summer at the Hood Kitchen, which is our commercial kitchen space that I use for jarring Starsea Kitchen Spices, and I've spent a lot of time restocking our product and um I hand jar the spices, and so that takes a lot of time.
00:03:42.319 --> 00:03:46.800
It has me up at the Hood Kitchen, which is around the corner from Goop Kitchen.
00:03:46.960 --> 00:03:51.759
So I've just been leaning into, you know, making my life a little bit easier.
00:03:52.000 --> 00:04:03.280
And sometimes when I haven't been able to prepare healthy meals at home to take with me, I have leaned into grabbing something to eat at Goop Kitchen and also Fermentation Farm is right over there.
00:04:03.520 --> 00:04:08.080
So if you guys haven't tried goop kitchen yet, I'll tell you what I usually order.
00:04:08.319 --> 00:04:14.879
It's usually the Caesar salad wrap because I love that they use a cassava flour tortilla.
00:04:15.280 --> 00:04:19.279
I don't eat any wheat when I'm in the United States.
00:04:19.360 --> 00:04:25.120
I just have a bad reaction, even if it's organic, I just swell up and it's just not worth it.
00:04:25.360 --> 00:04:29.439
So I love that they have wraps that use the cassava flour.
00:04:29.600 --> 00:04:31.360
And then I also like the salmon bowl.
00:04:31.519 --> 00:04:39.519
So that's what I treat myself too when I'm putting in a long day at the commercial kitchen in Costa Mesa.
00:04:39.759 --> 00:04:41.759
Um, and then of course, fermentation farm.
00:04:41.920 --> 00:04:43.040
You can never go wrong there.
00:04:43.120 --> 00:04:47.360
I love stopping in and picking up all my krauts, all my fermented veggies.
00:04:47.519 --> 00:04:57.199
And then if I have lunch there, I usually have a cup of their beef chili, or I have one of their brisket or chicken tacos, or a combination of both.
00:04:57.360 --> 00:05:03.519
Um, so if you're ever in Costa Mesa Huntington Beach, right on the border there, you can stop at Firm Farm.
00:05:03.600 --> 00:05:06.399
And then down in San Juan Capistrano, they also have a location.
00:05:06.560 --> 00:05:13.040
But I do feel like the food tastes better in the Costa Mesa Huntington Beach location.
00:05:13.279 --> 00:05:20.879
They serve it on plates versus all the food at the San Juan location are into go boxes, but you decide for yourself.
00:05:20.959 --> 00:05:30.879
And I also like picking up their corn tortillas to take home and work with since they're all handmade and there's no mysterious ingredients or folic acid in them.
00:05:31.040 --> 00:05:40.160
So two great spots if you have been looking to dine out and you want to keep it seed oil-free and healthy.
00:05:40.399 --> 00:05:51.040
Um other things that I've been doing food rise as we get towards the end of the year or end of the summer season is zucchini still in season.
00:05:51.360 --> 00:05:55.439
And zucchini always gets really large at the end of the summer.
00:05:55.680 --> 00:05:57.279
So I love shredding it.
00:05:57.439 --> 00:06:03.120
So at the farmer's market or at your grocery store, you can buy any type of zucchini or summer squash.
00:06:03.199 --> 00:06:07.360
And I use a box grater and I shred it, and you can then use any meat.
00:06:07.519 --> 00:06:13.279
So turkey, chicken, beef, bison, whatever you're in the mood for.
00:06:13.439 --> 00:06:29.040
And I make meatballs, and it's really nice to have in the fridge, especially after a really hot day when you come home and you're just too hot and tired to cook, and you have the protein already prepared, it's really easy to then just make a salad and throw some things together for dinner.
00:06:29.199 --> 00:06:33.439
But what's really important is grating the zucchini.
00:06:33.680 --> 00:06:39.680
And I don't always want to have to take a cuisinard out to use the grating attachment.
00:06:39.759 --> 00:06:42.639
So this is where a box grater is really important.
00:06:42.879 --> 00:06:49.680
Um, if you're watching this again on YouTube, I'm holding up the old school style of box grater.
00:06:50.160 --> 00:06:53.839
These are so important, they're so cheap and they're so wonderful.
00:06:54.000 --> 00:07:02.879
This one that I have, um, my parents bought it for me when I got my first apartment after I graduated from college at SMU, 2003.
00:07:03.199 --> 00:07:04.639
It's 2026, guys.
00:07:04.720 --> 00:07:06.240
I've had that for over 20 years.
00:07:06.399 --> 00:07:07.680
It was probably$15.
00:07:08.800 --> 00:07:13.360
So there are certain tools that you can buy in your kitchen that you will have forever.
00:07:13.519 --> 00:07:15.279
There's no reason to replace it.
00:07:15.439 --> 00:07:19.759
Um, so I highly suggest if you have a box grater, use it.
00:07:19.920 --> 00:07:21.839
If you don't have one, get it.
00:07:22.000 --> 00:07:29.759
Yes, you can when you go online and you start to look at cheese graters and and box graters, you'll see you'll see that there's a variety, right?
00:07:29.920 --> 00:07:33.519
So there's a style that you hold it in your hand and then you can grate.
00:07:33.680 --> 00:07:35.199
Those are still a pain.
00:07:36.639 --> 00:07:39.759
Those, I mean, try it, but I find it to be a pain.
00:07:39.920 --> 00:07:44.240
Then there's the kind that you see where it's in a circle.
00:07:44.639 --> 00:07:45.680
They're fine.
00:07:45.839 --> 00:07:53.519
However, if you have to do a lot of grating, like two large zucchinis, you're gonna have to grate one, move everything underneath.
00:07:53.680 --> 00:07:55.680
Grate another, move everything underneath.
00:07:55.759 --> 00:08:02.319
Um, because the box grader can be filled with more product than the other ones.
00:08:02.480 --> 00:08:05.920
Um, I also find the other ones can just be more exhausting on my hands.
00:08:06.000 --> 00:08:07.519
That's what it really gets down to.
00:08:07.839 --> 00:08:14.480
Chefs know certain machines just take more out of your hands and leave you in a little more pain.
00:08:14.560 --> 00:08:17.439
So I find the classic box grater the best.
00:08:17.680 --> 00:08:21.519
A quick pause to share something I truly use and love.
00:08:21.680 --> 00:08:22.959
I'm chef Whitney Arena.
00:08:23.279 --> 00:08:33.120
And as a personal chef, I began sharing my Starseed Kitchen organic spice blends with private clients when I couldn't find high-quality seasonings that met my standards for their meal prep.
00:08:33.279 --> 00:08:39.279
My clients are people who care deeply about what goes into their food and how it makes them feel, just like you.
00:08:39.440 --> 00:08:48.720
Every Starseed Kitchen blend is made with the highest quality organic spices with no added sugar, no MSG, no anti-caking agents, and no fillers.
00:08:48.879 --> 00:08:53.120
Just clean, real ingredients that support your body and elevate your cooking.
00:08:53.279 --> 00:09:08.559
Two of my most loved blends are 11 Magic Herbs and Spices, a go-to everyday seasoning that works on just about everything, and Starseed Kitchen Adobo, a light, bright, anti-inflammatory blend designed for modern, health-supportive cooking.
00:09:08.720 --> 00:09:15.519
Every jar is prepared with intention, charged with kundalini mantras, quartzgiza crystals, and blessed by a shaman.
00:09:15.600 --> 00:09:21.919
Because spices and the food you prepare with them are not just nourishment, they're a transfer of energy.
00:09:22.080 --> 00:09:27.840
You can find Starseed Kitchen Spices at all Erawan locations or online at starseedkitchen.com.
00:09:27.919 --> 00:09:31.600
Use code Starseed for 10% off your online order.
00:09:31.759 --> 00:09:33.759
Now let's get back to the conversation.
00:09:34.080 --> 00:09:46.000
I have found at clients' homes, I'll go looking for the box grater and they won't have it anymore because they will have hired someone to come and deep clean their kitchen or clear clutter.
00:09:46.320 --> 00:10:01.600
And that person will always have them get rid of it because it takes up space, and then they'll recommend the version like the single-hand version I mentioned that don't take as up much don't take as much space, but it doesn't work as well.
00:10:01.840 --> 00:10:09.360
So don't listen to those people that are telling you to get rid of certain equipment because it takes up space when it's actually equipment that's useful.
00:10:09.919 --> 00:10:12.320
So I think that's enough about the box grater.
00:10:12.480 --> 00:10:17.440
The other thing that I've been making a ton recently is wild rice.
00:10:17.759 --> 00:10:28.480
So I had one of the founders of a company called Wild Based on the podcast where we talked about sourcing more pantry staples that are actually wild varieties.
00:10:28.720 --> 00:10:38.000
And they have a wild rice, they have wild honey, they have a special type of California native tea.
00:10:38.799 --> 00:10:46.080
And they have a few other ingredients, uh, a coffee bean from Ethiopia, but the wild rice is fantastic.
00:10:46.240 --> 00:10:51.919
And it is, it is different from the wild rice you're gonna find at grocery stores because that's actually cultivated rice.
00:10:52.000 --> 00:10:53.440
This is truly wild rice.
00:10:53.600 --> 00:10:54.960
It's delicious.
00:10:55.120 --> 00:11:01.039
It takes 30 minutes to make versus you know, most rice takes 20 minutes to 25 minutes to make.
00:11:01.120 --> 00:11:06.799
So it takes a little bit longer just because those grains are more hard and robust.
00:11:07.279 --> 00:11:09.039
But I love the flavor.
00:11:09.120 --> 00:11:19.919
And I've been making a batch and then putting about anywhere from a fourth to a half a cup in my salad instead of quinoa, you know, because I like to have some sort of healthy starch in my salad.
00:11:20.000 --> 00:11:21.440
It just satiates me more.
00:11:21.600 --> 00:11:32.240
So as we move into this fall season, I highly suggest a combination of a little wild rice, um, maybe a little feta, maybe a little butternut squash.
00:11:32.399 --> 00:11:35.360
Um, I like it with a little salmon or shredded chicken.
00:11:35.600 --> 00:11:42.320
It's been really nice, and that's been the new component I've been adding to salads that have been really delicious.
00:11:42.399 --> 00:11:47.519
But definitely look at Wild Company or that previous episode that I did.
00:11:47.759 --> 00:11:56.799
It really has a great flavor and it's really fun to fill your pantry with different items than you've had in the past.
00:11:56.960 --> 00:12:11.919
I've been really into ordering as much as my food directly from the company that's selling it just to support those small businesses, but to also get better quality ingredients into my home, um, but more nutrient-dense foods into my life.
00:12:12.080 --> 00:12:17.200
So you guys know I love ordering from Star Walker Organic Farms for all my beef.
00:12:17.360 --> 00:12:20.799
I like ordering Pasture Bird for my chicken.
00:12:21.120 --> 00:12:25.600
I love Artemis beef sticks because they have organ meat in it.
00:12:25.679 --> 00:12:32.080
So I order the beef jerky and the beet beef sticks from Starwalker Farms, but then I also order from Artemis.
00:12:32.480 --> 00:12:35.759
And then I've been ordering wild rice from the wild company.
00:12:36.080 --> 00:12:47.279
So uh, you know, ordering directly, going on their websites, and it's been so nice to approach restocking my pantry that way.
00:12:47.440 --> 00:13:03.360
You're getting, again, better quality, more nutrient-dense, cleaner ingredients, and you're also really helping out small businesses when you order directly from them because then they're getting a majority of the revenue versus when you purchase it on another website, uh, the company ultimately makes less.
00:13:03.519 --> 00:13:07.679
So it really helps the businesses we love stay in business.
00:13:08.000 --> 00:13:11.120
What I've also been loving this summer is electrolyte mixes.
00:13:11.360 --> 00:13:17.440
I kind of hit the wall, it's been so hot in Southern California: 85, 90.
00:13:17.600 --> 00:13:22.159
And as a chef, like my days are spent in a kitchen with the oven on.
00:13:22.559 --> 00:13:25.919
So even if a client has the air conditioning going, it's not enough.
00:13:26.080 --> 00:13:28.000
I'm I'm withering away.
00:13:28.320 --> 00:13:34.559
So I just found that just putting lemon juice and sea salt in the water wasn't cutting it.
00:13:34.639 --> 00:13:36.879
I was so overheated and exhausted.
00:13:37.039 --> 00:13:39.519
And my mom was getting a heat stroke as well.
00:13:39.600 --> 00:13:44.799
So I started buying a variety of electrolyte mixes to help her out and to help me out.
00:13:44.879 --> 00:13:47.440
Um so I thought I'd show you guys what I've been using.
00:13:47.679 --> 00:13:53.759
And I've kind of surrendered the summer to some of the ingredients that are in these electrolyte mixes.
00:13:54.000 --> 00:14:03.039
You can't get everything perfect, um, but you can definitely avoid some of the lower quality ones.
00:14:03.279 --> 00:14:10.240
So there's not as much on the shelves at like a Whole Foods or a Sprouts that I would purchase.
00:14:10.559 --> 00:14:14.879
Mother's Market has better options if you're gonna walk in and purchase just in the store.
00:14:15.039 --> 00:14:16.159
Same as with Erawan.
00:14:16.240 --> 00:14:18.080
They have Arawan has great options.
00:14:18.240 --> 00:14:23.360
Um, but otherwise, most of these you're gonna need to order online, but it's totally worth it, I promise.
00:14:23.600 --> 00:14:26.159
But definitely still look at your ingredients.
00:14:26.559 --> 00:14:29.919
Ideally, you want to avoid citric acid if you can.
00:14:30.080 --> 00:14:37.360
You want to avoid fake sugars like aspartame, um, you want to avoid any food coloring.
00:14:37.600 --> 00:14:42.639
And ideally, when you can, you want to avoid the quote unquote natural flavors.
00:14:42.720 --> 00:14:44.080
Um, but we do our best.
00:14:44.159 --> 00:14:47.600
And none of these are perfect, but they're pretty good.
00:14:48.159 --> 00:14:54.320
Uh, the top one, the top contender has been Perfect Aminos Electrolyte Mix.
00:14:54.399 --> 00:14:57.039
This is the one that my parents ended up ordering as well.
00:14:57.279 --> 00:15:07.759
Um, I picked up the watermelon flavor at Erewon, and I think you guys would be surprised if you do pop into an Erawan, they do have sales.
00:15:07.919 --> 00:15:09.519
And that's kind of what prompted me.
00:15:09.679 --> 00:15:16.480
I had tried Perfect Aminos electrolyte mixes at Expo West earlier this year.
00:15:16.559 --> 00:15:18.000
I picked up all their flavors.
00:15:18.159 --> 00:15:20.799
They were, it was delicious and it was super refreshing.
00:15:20.960 --> 00:15:23.039
And it was a really nice afternoon pick-me-up.
00:15:23.200 --> 00:15:25.600
I really noticed a difference in how I felt.
00:15:25.840 --> 00:15:34.639
Um, and so when I saw it was on sale at Erawan and I was suffering with the heat, I decided to try it and I've I've pounded through the container.
00:15:34.720 --> 00:15:36.080
It's been really lovely.
00:15:36.399 --> 00:15:50.159
I highly suggest making it in a 32-ounce, you know, my glass ball jars that I love carrying around, chilling it in the fridge for at least an hour, and then taking it with you on your errands to your workout at the beach.
00:15:50.480 --> 00:15:52.720
It is it is so nice.
00:15:52.960 --> 00:15:56.240
So that's been a wonderful addition into my life.
00:15:56.559 --> 00:16:06.080
I've I'm also really into Nello just released their super glow, and it is delicious.
00:16:06.399 --> 00:16:13.200
Um, it's one of their little uh packets, they call it their super glow beauty elixir.
00:16:13.519 --> 00:16:18.240
It's a citrus flavor, but I feel like it tastes like a creamsicle.
00:16:19.440 --> 00:16:22.480
And it's absolutely delicious.
00:16:23.039 --> 00:16:36.080
And it's not necessarily an electrolyte packet, uh, but it has vitamin C and biotin, hyaluronic acid, collagen peptides, plant ceramides.
00:16:36.559 --> 00:16:41.519
But just quite frankly, I love it as an after-lunch, you know, palate cleanser.
00:16:41.919 --> 00:16:44.639
That's what I'm drinking right now if you're watching on YouTube.
00:16:45.039 --> 00:16:47.039
It's um a dark yellow in color.
00:16:47.279 --> 00:16:52.240
Now I have two more packets that I did pick up um at Erewan.
00:16:52.320 --> 00:16:59.279
They have it in a little kind of you know, one sample size, or you can buy the larger container.
00:16:59.519 --> 00:17:04.400
I picked up this brand called Godspeed Cellular Energy Drink.
00:17:04.640 --> 00:17:10.000
So I picked up this one, it's lemon flavor, and then the other one I picked up was it's called Energy.
00:17:10.079 --> 00:17:23.519
It's by the absorption company, it's a fruit punch flavor, and I'm gonna be using these actually this weekend because I'm playing in a volleyball tournament because these are electrolyte beverages with a focus on energy.
00:17:23.680 --> 00:17:25.200
So I thought that'll be perfect.
00:17:25.359 --> 00:17:29.359
I'm outside in the sun from 8:30 to 7 p.m.
00:17:29.680 --> 00:17:36.400
I'm gonna need that because really you get to a point where just another glass of water with a little salt in it isn't cutting it.
00:17:36.559 --> 00:17:38.079
Um, you're overwhelmed.
00:17:38.240 --> 00:17:49.200
And I'm gonna go pick up some ice at Pristine Hydro, which is in Laguna, uh Laguna Hills right next to Mother's Market, because all their ice is from their water filtration system.
00:17:49.359 --> 00:17:53.920
So that's a great tip if you're in Orange County or really wherever you are.
00:17:54.319 --> 00:18:07.920
If you need ice for an event and you're actually putting the ice in beverages, consider stopping into one of the local water stores that you're near and see if they do their own ice.
00:18:08.240 --> 00:18:15.680
And then with that in mind, you know, there's a lot of options for water filtration systems, the under-the-sink options.
00:18:15.839 --> 00:18:20.240
And I had helped my parents figure out who to work with.
00:18:20.480 --> 00:18:39.119
We purchased the system from Citizen and Citizen, they citizen water in uh Costa Mesa, it's still open, you can still walk in and get water, but they aren't responding to any client inquiries that need their water filtration filters changed.
00:18:39.279 --> 00:19:01.759
So now my parents have a thousand dollar system underneath their sink that they can't use because no more water is coming out of it because it needs a new filter and the owner isn't taking calls, the employees have no information about how to get new filters, they don't have any in stock, they've just gone ghost on their customers.
00:19:02.000 --> 00:19:08.799
So if anybody is experiencing this because they bought a water filtration system from Citizen, please reach out to me.
00:19:08.880 --> 00:19:24.880
Um, DM me on Instagram or go to the Star Seat Kitchen website and send me an email because I feel for you, and I'm going through it with my parents trying to figure out how we can get them clean filtered water now that they have a system that's unusable.
00:19:24.960 --> 00:19:45.200
Um, but this was just a great tip for anyone considering an under-the-sink water filtration system to make sure that you really choose a reputable company that you're gonna be able to use over multiple years so you they don't walk away and you can't replace the filters.
00:19:45.680 --> 00:19:48.720
So this is an interesting situation that we're in.
00:19:48.880 --> 00:19:58.079
But if anybody else is in it, please let me know so we can work together to at least see if we can find another company that could help us out.
00:19:58.880 --> 00:20:02.559
And hopefully nobody else falls for citizen water.
00:20:02.799 --> 00:20:07.519
I want to take a moment to share how Team Starseed Kitchen can support you beyond the podcast.

We have chefs ready and available across the country, and we so look forward to nourishing you.
00:21:18.000 --> 00:21:19.519
Now let's return to the episode.
00:21:19.759 --> 00:21:32.079
A more positive note, um, as we go through and I share kind of the things I'm using and loving right now, I went ahead and treated myself to some products from Oak Essentials.
00:21:32.240 --> 00:21:38.799
You know, the Jenny Kane Beauty brand, because I just wanted something different and nice.
00:21:38.960 --> 00:21:51.759
And so I got the moisture rich balm, which I I've purchased these items all with my hands in mine, um, just because everything's just been getting overworked with dinner parties and events recently.
00:21:51.920 --> 00:22:02.160
So I thought it would be really nice to keep the Oak Essentials moisture rich balm in my purse for end of chef days, and then I I also got the body butter.
00:22:02.880 --> 00:22:08.960
And it's like that super delicious, slightly hippie and earthy scent.
00:22:09.200 --> 00:22:10.559
It's really, really nice.
00:22:10.720 --> 00:22:14.880
So I just wanted to share with you guys if you've been seeing that online everywhere.
00:22:15.200 --> 00:22:19.920
Um sometimes it's nice to actually talk to a friend who purchased it.
00:22:20.079 --> 00:22:23.200
So I got the balm, I got the body butter.
00:22:23.359 --> 00:22:27.039
It is a real treat and it's the perfect fall scent.
00:22:27.359 --> 00:22:34.079
Usually I'm putting body butters and oils on me with no scent, but this was a nice little treat, and I really like it.
00:22:34.240 --> 00:22:38.160
So it's definitely worth it if you've been thinking about it.
00:22:38.480 --> 00:22:42.880
Another thing that I've been loving, kind of off-chef topic, is gap.
00:22:43.200 --> 00:22:45.519
I'm wearing a gap denim jacket.
00:22:45.599 --> 00:22:52.720
You guys are gonna see my new podcast cover and all the photos that we did for the brand and the podcast.
00:22:52.960 --> 00:22:59.599
And I just went to Gap and bought a bunch of denim and white t-shirts, jeans, denim jackets.
00:22:59.839 --> 00:23:10.480
And I've just been loving everything gap because as a chef, I want to be able to get dressed and look nice, but I can't be stressed that I'm gonna get a stain or food all over me.
00:23:10.640 --> 00:23:14.960
And I don't want to be wearing pieces of clothing that are over a hundred dollars.
00:23:15.119 --> 00:23:20.000
It's just not, it's not worth it being in the kitchen and sweating and working hard.
00:23:20.240 --> 00:23:33.440
And so I've just been really wanting to feel feminine and like a woman again and put on clothes that make me feel good and make me happy, but without spending a lot of money.
00:23:33.599 --> 00:23:36.240
So I've been really leaning into gap this summer.
00:23:36.400 --> 00:23:45.440
So if you have one in your area, definitely go and check it out online too, obviously, because they have things online that you don't see in person, but I really like trying on clothes in person.
00:23:45.519 --> 00:23:47.279
But that's been a big treat for me.
00:23:47.440 --> 00:23:50.000
Um, and it's been really fun going back to Gap.
00:23:50.319 --> 00:23:56.799
So highly suggest if you've been looking for some fresh new things and you don't want to spend the money.
00:23:56.960 --> 00:23:59.440
Uh, it's worked for me really well.
00:23:59.920 --> 00:24:03.039
And it allows me to cook in the kitchen without stressing out.
00:24:03.200 --> 00:24:06.000
All right, what else is on my little list for you guys?
00:24:06.240 --> 00:24:08.559
Hide hydrogen in water.
00:24:08.799 --> 00:24:15.279
So I went to an event a few weeks ago at a chiropractor's office.
00:24:15.359 --> 00:24:23.920
It he this particular chiropractor does, he brings in different experts to do lectures about every other, I think it's Wednesday.
00:24:24.079 --> 00:24:24.960
His name is Dr.
00:24:25.039 --> 00:24:28.240
Billy Damas, and his office is in Newport Beach.
00:24:28.400 --> 00:24:29.359
I adore him.
00:24:29.599 --> 00:24:38.559
And he really understands light frequency, health, energy, all the layers of working with a patient.
00:24:38.960 --> 00:24:52.960
He had David Avocado Wolf there to speak to his community about health and uh supplements and alternative ways that you can keep yourself nourished and hydrated and full of life force energy.
00:24:53.359 --> 00:24:59.839
And he had somebody there that has a water machine that puts hydrogen into the water.
00:25:00.079 --> 00:25:06.240
So you drink the hydrogen water every day, and then you also breathe in the hydrogen.
00:25:07.119 --> 00:25:12.640
And there's a lot of benefits of doing this.
00:25:12.960 --> 00:25:28.960
And at the same time, I had just booked somebody on my podcast who has a machine that does something very similar, and it is putting Brown's gas into your drinking water and then sitting and breathing in the Browns gas for an hour a day.
00:25:29.119 --> 00:25:46.400
And the difference is, and you're gonna hear more about this on an upcoming podcast, the Brown's gas has a few more molecules attached to the hydrogen, so you absorb the hydrogen in a more usable way for all your cells.
00:25:46.559 --> 00:25:54.480
And the Brown's gas in your bubbled with your water and breathed in gives incredible health results.
00:25:54.720 --> 00:26:14.000
So the expert that I had on, his name is George Wiseman, which I love it when people's last names match up with their soul's purpose or the projects that they're working on, Wiseman, which is actually it's not just how it's spelled, it's how he pronounces it too.
00:26:14.079 --> 00:26:21.440
And he he radiates health, wellness, honesty, truth, most lovely man.
00:26:21.839 --> 00:26:37.519
And he was telling me he's had, oh my gosh, over 2,000 people purchase his product and provide reviews on what they've experienced from drinking this special type of hydrogen water and breathing in the hydrogen for at least an hour every day.
00:26:37.680 --> 00:26:45.599
He's had people diagnosed with a variety of cancers get clearance and they no longer have the cancer within a year.
00:26:45.920 --> 00:26:50.640
He has had every scar on his body disappear.
00:26:50.799 --> 00:26:53.519
So it's rejuvenated his physical skin.
00:26:53.759 --> 00:26:58.880
It got, it's gotten rid of his and other patients' sciatica.
00:26:59.119 --> 00:27:04.559
Um, if you had any sort of skin rashes or skin conditions, cleared that up.
00:27:04.880 --> 00:27:07.119
It reverses gray hair.
00:27:07.440 --> 00:27:11.599
It is really a youth-rejuvenating tool.
00:27:11.839 --> 00:27:18.160
So, what he explained to me is the hydrogen is basically a mineral that we need more of.
00:27:18.240 --> 00:27:23.119
And the best way to take in that mineral is through water and breathing it in.
00:27:23.279 --> 00:27:27.119
And basically, you're rebuilding your nutrition source.
00:27:27.200 --> 00:27:34.079
So he considers taking in this hydrogen, just like the importance of taking in food, minerals, and vitamins.
00:27:34.240 --> 00:27:43.359
And then that's why you're seeing these health results is because you're just building back those buckets of nutrients that have become empty.
00:27:43.519 --> 00:27:46.799
So it's it's going to be a really interesting episode for you guys to listen to.
00:27:46.960 --> 00:27:57.680
But this has been really fascinating me to me because for years, people have been sharing water that has hydrogen with me and those little hydrogen tabs.
00:27:58.480 --> 00:28:02.720
And I just felt like that couldn't be correct.
00:28:02.960 --> 00:28:18.160
It couldn't actually work because I have an ozone machine and I have the ozone bubbler where you take the water, you put it in the special glass jar, you fill it with oxygen for about 20 minutes, and then you drink the water.
00:28:18.480 --> 00:28:25.200
And it puts the ozonated water in your body, you swish the water around in your mouth and it helps make your teeth whiter.
00:28:25.440 --> 00:28:26.000
It really works.
00:28:26.079 --> 00:28:27.200
It's fantastic.
00:28:27.279 --> 00:28:33.519
Um, it's just hard to get the oxygen machine, the oxygen vial to continue to use the machine.
00:28:33.680 --> 00:28:39.839
But I noticed a lot of great results with that, but the water is only good and powerful and full of oxygen for two hours.
00:28:40.000 --> 00:28:43.119
And then after that, it goes back to the state that it previously was.
00:28:43.279 --> 00:28:51.279
So when you make ozonated oxygen water, you only make a small amount because you only have two hours to consume it.
00:28:51.519 --> 00:29:04.960
So I was thinking this hydrogen water, there's no way that people can be making it putting it in a glass or plastic jar or a packet and putting it on the shelf and selling it and letting it sit for months at a time.
00:29:05.039 --> 00:29:06.640
There's no way you could be getting benefits.
00:29:06.720 --> 00:29:09.119
And I got confirmation that that's true.
00:29:09.440 --> 00:29:14.160
So, I mean, everyone needs to try and experiment for themselves.
00:29:14.559 --> 00:29:16.400
But I'm really excited.
00:29:16.480 --> 00:29:26.000
I think I'm gonna go ahead and pull the trigger and buy this Brown's gas hydrogen water machine and just experiment on myself and use it every day.
00:29:26.240 --> 00:29:37.839
Uh, but George is working on building a website or building a tool on his website so you can find practitioners within the US that have the machine.
00:29:38.000 --> 00:29:49.599
So you can go and sit and breathe in the Browns gas for an hour every day for a few days in a row, get some of the hydrogen water and experience it to see if it really is supporting you.
00:29:49.759 --> 00:29:51.119
And it's a machine that you want to buy.
00:29:51.200 --> 00:29:57.440
It's only about 2,500, which is pretty good for a water filtration system that does more than just that.
00:29:57.759 --> 00:29:59.759
But wanted to share that with you guys.
00:29:59.839 --> 00:30:05.599
That's what's really kind of intriguing me at the moment, and I'm doing a lot more research on.
00:30:05.759 --> 00:30:14.960
I'm also really into just going to physical therapy and deeply nourishing my body with proper exercises, but then recovery.
00:30:15.119 --> 00:30:18.720
I'm really in the season of less is more.
00:30:19.200 --> 00:30:27.359
So not forcing myself to do really hard workouts, um, but always making sure that I'm walking, I'm getting outside and seeing the morning sun.
00:30:27.680 --> 00:30:39.519
Um, but I'm really focused on calming my nervous system so I can rebuild my energy level so I can go out and do the work that I really want to do.
00:30:39.759 --> 00:30:48.160
My last little tip and reminder for this season is really the importance of cleaning and clearing your energy field.
00:30:48.319 --> 00:30:58.000
And so I've been making sure that I always have one appointment a month with Shamananda, who I do hands-on healing with and clearing.
00:30:58.079 --> 00:30:59.440
And every session's different.
00:30:59.680 --> 00:31:08.240
Some sessions we use sound bowls and tuning forks, other sessions we don't, but really the session's all about I'm not looking to heal anything.
00:31:08.400 --> 00:31:14.799
I'm just looking to clean and clear my energetic field so I'm not walking around with other people's stuff.
00:31:14.960 --> 00:31:22.960
Um, and so then I can better attune and hear my inner guidance for what I'm supposed to do next in my life.
00:31:23.279 --> 00:31:36.720
And that leads back to getting to go see the frequency movie, which I hope you guys all tune into on October, um, I believe it's October 10th and 11th or 11th and 12th.
00:31:36.960 --> 00:31:39.279
It is going to be over that weekend.
00:31:39.519 --> 00:31:42.799
The frequency music is going to be free online.
00:31:43.200 --> 00:31:53.839
So if you go to the frequencymovie.com October 10th and 11th, the film will be free online in 16 different languages.
00:31:54.319 --> 00:31:57.200
I highly suggest watching this film.
00:31:57.519 --> 00:32:02.240
It brings up how tuning forks help heal people.
00:32:02.480 --> 00:32:08.720
And Eileen Mukouzak, who is on the podcast, she's featured in the film talking about tuning forks.
00:32:08.960 --> 00:32:17.599
The film really mentions many of the frequency machines and tools that I've had experts on talk about here on the podcast.
00:32:17.680 --> 00:32:31.200
But then you can see in real life how people are using them, not in real life, but on this film how people are using them and the results people have had, from food to organic regenerative farming to um to health and revitalization.
00:32:31.599 --> 00:32:38.960
It's a great film helping you better understand that you are more than just this physical body.
00:32:39.119 --> 00:32:44.640
There are multiple layers of you spread out wide and bigger than you realize.
00:32:44.720 --> 00:32:47.759
You take up more space in this world than you realize.
00:32:48.000 --> 00:32:59.440
And it's a reminder of all the different ways that we really need to pay attention and nourish and take care of all the different layers of us so we can go out there and live the life that we want to live.
00:32:59.680 --> 00:33:05.680
And the reason I went to this particular premiere in LA is because Dr.
00:33:05.759 --> 00:33:11.200
Joe Dispenses spoke for about an hour, hour and a half before the film started.
00:33:11.359 --> 00:33:27.359
And it was, he's such a great reminder that we are still very much in charge of the reality that we are living in and create and how much our mindset practices matter and how if you don't like your circumstances, you can change them.
00:33:27.599 --> 00:33:30.559
And I think we can all use that advice from time to time.
00:33:30.720 --> 00:33:37.599
We all get into ruts, we all get go through phases where we look around and we think this doesn't feel right anymore.
00:33:37.759 --> 00:33:38.880
This isn't who I am.
00:33:39.039 --> 00:33:40.799
This is what not what I want to be doing.
00:33:40.960 --> 00:33:42.880
This is not how I want to be spending my time.
00:33:43.039 --> 00:33:44.319
Something is off.
00:33:44.799 --> 00:33:53.680
And he is a great teacher of providing tools for when you feel that to move through it and evolve it, to not stay stuck.
00:33:53.920 --> 00:33:59.119
Um, so I highly suggest you guys watch this film when it comes out in October.
00:33:59.359 --> 00:34:07.920
And fingers crossed, I'm hoping to help um find an opportunity for the film to be shown here in Orange County.
00:34:08.079 --> 00:34:19.519
So I'll get I'll keep you guys posted on that because obviously going to see see it in person live on a big screen with friends and getting to experience some sort of lecture beforehand is a lot of fun.
00:34:19.599 --> 00:34:21.039
And that's how I experienced it.
00:34:21.119 --> 00:34:37.760
And I want more people to have the opportunity to see and mingle with like my line, my like-minded people and uh being vigorated and reminded that there are so many tools out there to help us live a great life and feel good in our body and thrive.
00:34:38.079 --> 00:34:40.079
So here we are.
00:34:40.320 --> 00:34:43.119
The season's gonna be transitioning soon.
00:34:43.360 --> 00:34:52.960
Remember, we're still in summer, and summer doesn't end until mid-Septur, but we'll be going through that, you know, seasonal transition phase.
00:34:53.119 --> 00:34:56.880
So give you and your body some breaks, you know, some peace.
00:34:57.039 --> 00:34:59.679
You can't just go hard into another season.
00:34:59.840 --> 00:35:01.760
You'll probably need a little extra sleep.
00:35:01.840 --> 00:35:03.599
You'll probably move a little slower.
00:35:03.840 --> 00:35:19.760
You're gonna have to start transitioning what you're eating, you know, some more roasted, baked food, slowly move into soups and braised and slow cooked foods while still having a salad and some of the late summer foods.
00:35:19.840 --> 00:35:20.800
It's a transition.
00:35:20.960 --> 00:35:25.199
Stay hydrated, nourish yourself, don't move too fast.
00:35:25.440 --> 00:35:27.119
But that's all I have for you guys today.
00:35:27.280 --> 00:35:33.440
I'll have all these links for you of everything that I mentioned in the Shop My folder under podcast.
00:35:33.920 --> 00:35:36.079
And I'll connect with you guys soon.
00:35:36.239 --> 00:35:41.760
You'll start to notice a new podcast cover, new images on our social media page.
00:35:42.000 --> 00:35:49.920
We're gonna have a lot of fun in how we talk and chat and connect and um help educate you this fall.
00:35:50.000 --> 00:35:52.320
It's really all about tools for your tool belt.
00:35:52.480 --> 00:35:58.320
You know, some of the stuff we share you might not need right now, but you might need later in life, or you might have somebody you know who need it.
00:35:58.480 --> 00:36:07.119
And so that's what this is all about, just building tools in our tool belt for our life and our health and our wellness and that of others that we love.
00:36:07.360 --> 00:36:13.440
So wishing you guys well and new episodes coming out all this fall.
00:36:13.679 --> 00:36:14.239
Cheers.
