ABOUT THIS EPISODE
In this solo episode of Healing Through Dentistry, Eva shares the story of a young mother searching for answers after struggling with thyroid imbalance, hormonal disruption, chronic fatigue, and a history of Lyme disease.
Her journey began after watching the Root Cause documentary, which explores the connection between root canal treatments and systemic health. Inspired by the possibility that oral health could affect the entire body, she traveled from Slovakia to the DUO Smile clinic in Brno to investigate whether hidden dental infections could be influencing her health.
Advanced 3D CBCT imaging revealed several chronic dental issues:
- Root canal treated teeth with visible infection
- Significant bone loss around the upper right molars
- A residual infection site in the lower right jaw
- An impacted wisdom tooth on the lower left side
After undergoing biological dental surgery and following a strict pre- and post-surgery healing protocol, something remarkable happened.
Within just a few weeks she experienced:
- Increased vitality and energy
- Noticeable improvement in skin quality
- Better sleep and recovery
- A restored menstrual cycle after more than 18 months of hormonal irregularities
This story highlights how hidden dental infections may influence hormonal health, thyroid function, and systemic inflammation—and why biological dentistry focuses on identifying and removing chronic sources of stress in the body.
